Prophetic practice thread

Hey Steven,
God's voice is clear but a soft whisper. speaking through his word or others around. sometimes it can be difficult to hear if we are focusing on the other things. the reason i say all this is because I see a radio blaring
and on it is loud energetic music. Now though there is nothing wrong with the music ( the music may be symbolizing the cares of this world...the little things that are affecting how you view God and his plan for you...)the problem is you cannot hear the voice that is speaking clearly in the same room. You need to tune out the music for a moment to hear the Word of God.
Lord, I pray for my brother, Steven, that your love may abound still in him more and more
in knowledge and ALL discernment
that he may approve the things that are excellent, that he may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Christ Jesus to the glory and praise of God" Phil. 1:9-11

God's saying to me that you will or you have a great faith in God and that you will not be afraid to just shout out in streets and shopping malls and anywhere and that everywhere you go i just say a great strength and a great boldness in you and i bless that and Gods saying he wants you to use it i kinda see that you are sorta bored where you are at and God is just saying follow him because he is gonna use you greatly i can just see you like in the corner of the street yelling out like Isaiah did because you have that much faith and strength so just focus on God and be willing to be used and you will be you will be used greatly

7kingskid7, Holy Spirit showed me this evening a plant being watered and the roots being grounded deep into fertile soil. WATER THIS PLANT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!! this plant is you. right now you are in the young stages of a plant being firmly rooted in God and he just is letting me know to remind you don't miss ANY feeding of the SON and the SPIRIT. you will be growing green having refreshment of the Holy One to spread life to others! Amen!

Can anyone tell me if I could possibly have a gift of prophesy? someone told me I did...but I'm not sure how to use it...or if I even have it...I gave a word to a friend of mine once...but that was a while ago..and I dont know how to do it again:S anyone?

hey um apsalmist that happened tonight lol for a while i haven't seen my Dad well for a couple of months really and um well when i was younger i kinda felt that my dad didn't love me that he was always fighting with mum because of me and he would always tell me Dylan you can't make Dylan you can't do it and all that kinda stuff and well apparently your earthly Dad involves alot to do with how you relate to God lol you heavenly Dad and well tonight i broke free of it all and i got rid of it all and well the roots went deep....very very deep so you were right on the money

Steven, you had one or two words posted to you if you will go back and find them. One of them I will confirm. It seems you are not alert to what is around you in the natural. How do you expect to hear and see that which is spiritual if you can't see things around you in the natural? Just a friendly observation.

Havent seen you around for quite a while! although i dont really have a word for you directly from God i do want to tell you that you're a huge encouragement and to keep on pressing into Him! keep on following His will and looking to Him for guidance! remember..all good things come from Him and for Him and through Him are all things Blessings and happiness be to you!

I must say that I have been so very blessed by this thread. Many words that were "intended" for others spoke to my heart. Our Lord is amazing.....and wonderful....and worthy of our praise. I am so moved by witnessing the obedience demonstrated here. It is truly an inspiration. I praise Him for the inspiration of His Holy Spirit that flows in and through us as we surrender to Him. Amen
