Now we are starting to see the things happening for which this thread was designed for.

I was really blessed by the word that I received from 7KingsKid7. What I want to do is to encourage the others out there who are wanting to have more opportunity to step out in the prophetic. Let me be in the hot seat, and anyone who has a word for me, give it.

I will give you feedback, but my feedback will be positive, because I won't be telling anyone whether they are a bit off or not, because a word of prophecy can deal with the past, present or future (although I do not go with predicting the future in prophecy). Therefore, a word might make sense to me considering my past and present; and then a word might not make sense to me now, but in six months time it may be as clear as crystal.

This means that a person can give a word now, that will come into focus in the future as my life and circumstances develop. In other words, you might give a prophecy that does not match my circumstances now, but in 6 or 12 months, my circumstances might arrange themselves to make the prophecy very accurate.

This is why we should not be too quick in putting down a prophecy that might not make sense to us right now. Print it out and file it away, and look at it again in six months time. You might be amazed at how accurate it is then.

So, be encouraged to step out in faith and give me a word. The more people giving me a word each the better. Prophecy becomes very powerful when a whole group of people gives words to one person.

You see, the traditional way is for one person to give a prophecy to a group of people. But the Holy Spirit can do something really precious. Get a whole group of people to give prophecies to one person. Now that sort of prophecy can blow a person right out of their cotton socks.

great words Oscar. I actually was told of this lady who was prophesied over. She was told by a man of God that she was being seen in a red dress (given to her by her husband) for an occasionand some how had just saved a baby from drowning in a pool. she laughed at him. she said to him 1. i hate the color red
2. my husband would NEVER buy me clothing 3. i don't know anything that would get e to a pool. she bit the prophet's ear off and stormed away. 10 YEARS went by and he got a phone call from a friend who knew that lady. He said- you are NEVER gunna believe it. that lady you prophesied over 10 years ago is in utter shock. the prophet said WHY? and the guy explains... it was their 12 wedding anniversary and he bought his wife a red gown for the opening of their back yard remodel which included a swimming pool. somehow a baby fell in and she jumped in clothed and saved the baby!!!

SOoooooooooooooooooo all i am saying is I agree Oscaar that the prophesy may not be for the NOW but God has a way of proving HIMSELF in the prophesy when your heart is to please God and be used of him. I would love a prophesy if the Lord has one for me through any one of you.

this was a prophecy to myself.... very personal

but God brought it to mind...when praying for you
and to encourage you..that He is your all in all
everything you need is found in Him.
it is now for you as well.

I really dont know what my gifts are...I feel like i dont really have any...somtimes i feel like God is just off at a distance...i wonder if he listens all the time...i could use a word if anyone has the time:S thanks..

steven, God hears your prayers. He hears your cry for him to draw closer. He is reminding me of the Song of Solomon verse in 1:4 i think... it says, "draw me away and I will run after you"! Lord, I ask that you draw my brother steven to you, Remind him of your love constantly. Give him an energized renewed divine release of You Spirit's might God!
Steven, God wants to renew your mind and saturate you with His love. delve into His word. Search out the things that keep you from being as full as you want. The Lord is COMMITTED to his children who desire the answers. He wants you to ASK so he can give!!

hey um apsalmistspraise i think this one is for you

i see your life like a raging river flowing with the current and often the current is goig forward to Jesus but i also see every now and then the current changing and going the other way but it is a lot less powerfull whn it is going backwards and i think when the current changes and goes backwards it's when you are filled with doubt and it turns you around and sends you backwards but i want you to know that God is with you eveywhere everytime and everyday and that when you are filled with doubt he is with you just waiting for you to head back towards him and he loves you and all he wants is for you to give him a big hug

Praise God!!! He's delivered me from my enemies! Thank all of you for your encouragement and words I thank God for CF! It's such a blessing for my life! Not to mention the thousands of lives that are affected all the time on here! I stumbled across this verse a couple days ago and now its hitting me more than ever:

ub4me!!!!!! THAT IS AN AWESOME SONG GOD GAVE YOU! Have you a tune that goes with it>? I write songs all the time and i saw this and started reading and had a song in my heart with the words!

YES....WHEN GOD GIVES ME THE WORDS....THE MUSIC (TUNE) IS USUALLY THERE WITH IT...AS IT WAS IN THIS CASE.

THIS CONFIRMS A GIFT WITHIN ME....TO PROPHECY WITH SONG.

i thank that yur name gentle rain is apart of ytour calling and that everywhere you go Gods gentle loving rain will be with and God wants you to share it around and spread and show others how awesome Gods gentle rain is but at the moment i think God is just saying get readdy for it and just pray and get to know God more and more but yer i definatly felt that you will be apart of spreading Gods rain and his holy spirit everywhere you go
