CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love waking with a praise song on my heart. Today I woke in the the most delightful mood! It was like being drunk but not *LOL* I think I was just happy to have another day!
I hear the Lord saying "peace be still" for you. I believe that in the middle of the crashing waves and the lightening striking that God patiently waits for you to call out to him as he is the one who calms all storms. Sometimes the calm is just the peace you have while the waves are rolling in around you. Isn't it amazing to know that the Lord keeps us safe even in the midst of our storms. I do not know if you are going through one right now, but I felt led to share that.

I experienced one of the most awful things ever last year. I did not think I would make it...and I didn't. I truly gave it to God and he carried me...just like the Footprints poem.Wow! You guys are fast on this thread. And, of course praying HIS spirit and will be in this thread too, amen!
Now, I have to ask for a word..."What do I do when I can't fix someone who is broken and hurting one of my children and two of my grandchilren"? And, yes...both mentally as well as physically...now...and I am so sad, cuz I knew this was coming!
So, I'll take any advice given from above...as I am at my wits end...and it "IS" HIS turn to help me, amen. And, of course...MAY HIS WILL BE DONE and not mine! Thank you to anyone who may have a word of wisdom here, hannah

Father, I pray that you will fully heal Heather and her little 2 year old child. Heal them and touch them at this time. Devil you know who we are. We're followers of the Lord Jesus Christ.
