for us all I pray peace in the inner most of our beings as we do as the Lord asks of us. That the Lord would bless us each with a prophesy for the other and that it boggle the minds of those who say it isnt a working gift of the holy spirit! That we would be used, each of us, to glorify our father which is in Heaven. He loves each of us and wants us t succeed. He gives us dreams and goals and thoughts. He gives us desires that he wants us to grasp. Ps 37!! Grasp it. claim it in hope for yourself. unto His good work in you!

How many of you have the gift of discerment . . . there have been times in my Christian walk when the gift came on me so powerful, but at other times I fell like I don't have a clue . . . does this happen to any of you . . . I am having so many things happening at one time that I would like someone to tell me if the LORD speaks to them for me that I am not hearing . . . Thanks in advance for any input anybody has . . .

?? I was under the impression we all could have and do at times have the gift of discernment and that it's provided by the Holy Spirit as needed... true... some walk in it more than others, but that can be said for anything.??

Anywho..I'm not a prophet. Just throwing in my 2 cents.

Whatfor, I was going to rep you too but it looks like I had only recently done that in the Reppy Christmas thread, so I need to spread some more reps around before coming back to you. However, I'll give you my comments here:

I will pray for you ahmunmun.

I don't know if it is just me, but it feel like there is a lot of spiritual attacks going on.
I had what I believe was an attack a few weeks ago, I suddenly found I felt sick whenever I prayed in the spirit, then got a bad virus that I felt took me out for 2 weeks, all is good now.

Sorry if this isn't anything to do with your situation, just feels like it.

Anyway am praying for you.

I honestly don't know if it's spiritual attacks or if God is trying to teach me something by making me go through this. No, I didn't feel sick when I prayed, but I felt like I was being ignored, like I said. Then again, I received this word via e-mail which gave me an encouragement to keep waiting for God's response. I will share the word:

Seed Faith

My precious child, do not be discouraged when it seems that I am not answering your prayers at the time allotted by you. Your prayer has been sown as a seed faith, and I delight in this, for you made sure to please Me.

Know that the seed is growing into the ground first, making roots, just as I am reaching deep down your soul to prepare you to receive the answer to your prayer.

When the roots are strong enough, it will be a support to the plant, which will then reach to the sunlight and become the most precious and beautiful flower you've ever seen. I am working behind the scenes to bring your prayer to pass, for the answer will be an all-encompassing one which will affect even those around you.

I only give good gifts and I prepare you accordingly to enjoy the gift in a mature way, as a testimony of My great love for you.

hey there, silvy! The Lord is desiring you for a great work. You are in a day of new beginnings in your life. some situations have ended only so better ones can begin. I see divine appointments are for all of us (as someone mentioned earlier in a prayer for me) I would pass the request on for the Lord to let us all see these divine appointments for what they are! You are just realizing the depth of the Lord's calling in your life and he desires you faithfulness and your study into all things in which he gives you desires for. The Holy Spirit would like to just .....He wants your life to be a seive. you know a collander that you strain water? he wants to strain the bad stuff out of your life and keep the good stuff in you life. You have to be willing to put your life through the Holy Spirits' seive though..... weird analogies lately lol sorry. hope it is understandable for you. Keep raising the praises up to His throne Silvy, he loves to hear your praise! PS i noticed you directly asked me to give a word, but God may be leading someone else to give more than I did. hey! just wanted to say that one of my favorites in scripture is 2 Tim 2:15. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly DIVIDING the word of truth. of course i have alot of faves but for the subject of discernment this comes to mind. God will allow us to have as much discerment as we desire! We read his word, ask his thoughts, dwell in his holiness, and seek his face. e answers. he gives us clarity and peace. He never says no to a child wanting to get closer to him. so i encourage you, to keep drawing closer to him. he yearns for his children to study his word, gain his knowledge and be able to discern the direction they are to go after all t does say: thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path...how can you discern where to go if you dont fellowship with Him and study his word to know what he is pointing at for your daily activity? exactly.
