Lovely.

But I'm not being refined, as He is nowhere to help (for a long long time) I am only about to quit on Him.
Howard dean, please do not quit God over someone saying he isnt finished yet. here is a better way to hear it ::::the song: REFINER'S FIRE, Purify my heart
Let me be as gold and precious silver
Purify my heart
Let me be as gold, pure gold
Refiner's fire
My heart's one desire
Is to be holy
Set apart for You Lord
I choose to be holy
Set apart for You my Master
Ready to do Your will

the Lord loves us all, and we all go through a strengthening. He wants our dependance on Him and what about His highest price?? the greatest sacrifice in all of life is his blood for our atonement. When someone says God isn't finished putting you through the fire I believe to build on that: diamonds are under presure for They are mined from
kimberlite and
lamproite volcanic pipes, which brought to the surface the diamond crystals from deep in the Earth where the high pressure and temperature enables the formation of the crystals.(wiki)...how much heat and pressure to make such beautiful and expensive jewels???
- Bury carbon dioxide 100 miles into Earth.
- Heat to about 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Squeeze under pressure of 725,000 pounds per square inch.
- Quickly rush towards Earths surface to cool.
this is one version. we are how beautiful in God's sight? I do not believe he is ever finished with any one of us hun. Do not be discouraged. we all are going through a refiners fire. do i need to mention the verse about how he likens us to yes i should:God says go for it lol
"Job 23:1 Then Job answered and said,
2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
Job 23:8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
9 On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
I had a really rough day. I thought it would never end and then, right when the day was almost over, i got pulled over by a cop over the fact that my one tail like wasn't working....this after being yelled at for 20 minutes by a lunatic customer where i had to wat for them to hang up.... the rent is NOT paid. due 4 days ago and the electric was to be disconnected. i owe a water bill, heat and electric bill and dumpster fee for a company that is still doors not open and my husband is in another state for 2 months , in training for trucking and we just had our first wedding anniversary. I am getting no sleep to speak of and i need 2500 bucks in 3 weeks just to make the coffee shop more than a dream. all of this is REFINERS FIRE and learning to trust the Lord becuase he told me he would provide.
Howard dean: DO NOT GIVE UP. the Lord loves you and he loves me. here i found something on the web as an encouragement. but if you do not read all of it it will not seem like encouragement so: READ ALL OF IT lol

More than we can bear?
There's a popular Christian myth that I'd like to dispel here and now. It's a very common myth, tossed around by good church-goers everywhere, used in dire straits by many a well-intentioned ministry worker, repeated mantra-like to themselves by gobs of Christians.
That myth is:
God will never give you more than you can bear.
To which I reply: nonsense!!
God actually
will allow us to be assaulted with more than we can bear. If we never faced more than we can bear, what need would we have of him? We could just buckle down, close our eyes, and wait for the storms to pass -- no need to fall on our knees, desperate for his strength, his comfort, his help.
I can think of at least two good reasons for God to allow us to face more than we can bear:
1. As mentioned above, trials that are heavier than what we can carry force us to recognize, once again, our constant need for God. They lead us to him, leave us leaning on him, cause us to wait for his strength before we move even one more step.
2. They reinforce our need for Christian community. If we could handle it all, we wouldn't know the sweet joy of being ministered to by other believers, we wouldn't experience the beautiful bond of a friendship formed in the midst of trials. We could all be our own rocks, our own islands... strong, maybe...lonely, definitely. Our pastor has said, "The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone." We are to be in community. And often, it is difficulty beyond our capacity that drives us to and cements us in that community.
My goal isn't to discourage you today. To be honest, I'm just tired of hearing well-meaning Christians telling others, "Don't worry, God will never give you more than you can bear." And while I can't point to a specific instance, I bet I'm guilty of it myself. It
sounds encouraging, sounds like it makes sense, right?
The Bible does tell us we won't be
tempted beyond what we can handle - God will make a way out, an opportunity for us to say no to the temptation. But as for trials, I think Scripture reminds us repeatedly that trials will come and that they may be incredibly difficult, even life-shattering (remember
Job?)... but that in the midst of that misery, there is a light, the light of God's love, strength, and sustenance.
Perhaps we'd do better to say to our loved ones, "Don't worry. God will never give you more than
He can bear. Lean on him. Lean hard." (found at:

Praying for you!
