It was obvious to me this was a word from the Lord he was quoting and which I'd asked for.

I know it sounds petty and stupid, but I'm really frustrated with God right now. The things I so desperately seek Him to help me with just aren't getting any better, and the things deepest in my heart to do for Him are just not happening either (ministry wise)... I feel alone and abandoned, if that makes sense. I know He is there... I know things are supposed to happen in His time, but I just am so miserable and upset and frustrated and I just can't seem to get beyond it. These things are constantly in my face and I cannot escape them, or change them myself and I feel like He's not doing anything or I just can't see what He's doing and I just wanna break down a cry out of sheer disappointment and in my unhappiness. I pray constantly and feel no peace or relief or deliverance and I'm just lost.

Sometimes God does give a word through a person. I used to belong to a church which did that after the service.
Ask God for confirmation also.

Oh, sorry, it wasn't obvious to me. It looked at first glance like it was Spiritlead speaking of himself since it was in the first person.

Well......as I look at it again, it still isn't obvious to me and it still looks like Spiritlead speaking of himself in the first person.....yeah, I'm having a problem here.

Jimmy, a true prophetic word doesnt have to be obvious or make sense to anyone else but the recipiant.

That word didnt make any sense to me either, personally speaking, but I can still stand in agreement and testing of that word with my sister, because that authority to test a word I can understand and discern.

Elsanrandimom, I don't have a word per se but I keep bumping into this subject of late If I could make a sugestion or two.

Study psalms, David was going through horrible things and praised God. Praise God in all things if God doesn't know what he is doing in your life better than you we are all sunk.In Isaiah 45:7 God says he(paraphrasing look it up yourselves) creates light and darkness he makes well being and creates woe..
God will allow you to suffer for the kingdom sake. count it as blessing praise and thank Him as an act of obedience and wait to see his plan come to fruition.
please take this advice, test it against scripture and if it is bad though it away. i'm sorry if I have violated the rules of this forum but I felt like God may have given me the answer in the natural that I might share it now.

God says, is anything to hard for Him, for He is the God of the impossible, only beleive, and trust Him and He will take care of this situation, for surely you are His chosen, and He has not forgotten your love and devotion to Him, take courage and praise and worship Him even in this hard time, endure hardness as a good soldier in His army and He will bring you thru and surely there will be victory and increased blessing in short order, speak to the circumstance to be removed and He will bless your faith!!!

My son was baptised years ago and loved the Lord. Now, as a teen, he wants nothing to do with God, because He never answers his prayers.
(this seems to be so, from my vantage point).
I want him back with the Lord (nothing more important than this).
