Have you taken up the sword ?? have you prepared for battle?? have you thought it through ?? do you realize the cost ??
Hard questians with hard answers.
We are from our first breath born into a battle like it or not we are thrown into a battle for our souls.
For many of us the war is won but the battle is raging on.
We continue to be attacked our loved ones, our friends, our family all suffer at the hands of evil as do we as well.
But we must understand its only a temporary suffering, Victory in the war is ours and never let satan nor man nor the world lead you to believe different.
Our best friends can be under attack, our children can be under attack, we can be under attack , our health can be under attack.
And yet no matter how much we suffer know matter how much our Loved ones suffer we hold Victory firmly within our heart because we hold Jesus Christ in our heart. the battle is raging and victums fall on every side they fall in front of us, behind us and to the side but when they fall the nail pierced hands of the carpenter , the Son of God ,Jesus Christ reaches to our left and to our right in front and behind us He reaches and he raises them to their knees and they stand, not in strength of flesh but they stand in strength of Faith knowing they have Victory in the war even if in the battle they have fallen.
To fall is to know you are in the battle.
To stand is to know you are victorious in the War.
So this i say to those in the battle ,if you have fallen and you are down if your flesh has been weakened take hold of the nail piearced hand of of Jesus Christ and rise up on your feet in Faith because even though you have fallen in the battle you are Victorious in the War.
Stand till you can stand no longer, fight for the souls of your Loved ones and for all those around you.
Stand and take claim to your Victory.

In complete darkness even the smallest of lights shine greatly.
So many times we get discouraged.
We wonder if we are really making a difference.
We look around us, we walk down the street we turn on the tv or the radio and all we hear and see is darkness surrounding us and we wonder to ourselves what can we do ??
Can we alone make a difference when darkness is surrounding us??
In a world of selfishness when we reach out to others seeking nothing in return the light is bright and pierces the darkness.
In a world of fleshly false love Gods True Love shines like a light piercing the darkness.
In a material self serving world our sacrifice for others is like a light that pierces the darkness.
In a world of no compassion nor kindness our compassion and kindness is like a light piercing the darkness.
In a world of no patience our long suffering and patience is like a light piercing the darkness.
In a world that judges others our non judging of others is like a light piercing the darkness.
Each of these are but a small part of the light we can each pierce the darkness with each day.
Imagine walking into a huge dark room , you light a match and that one match pierces the darkness in that area and if another person standing in another area lights a match and another and another and another and another and another each a small light yet each a piercing light soon the darkness is not darkness but the darkness is light.
We are each as deciples a light a match waiting to be struck and ignited to light the darkness, a light of many lights around the world lighting the darkness of the world so all those in the darkness of the world can see the face of ONE in the light. The face of Jesus Christ !!
Have you been struck ?? Have you been ignighted ?? Does the light you hold shine ?? Are you a piercing light in utter darkness or is the corner you are standing in dark ?? Have you done your part are you shinning your light where you stand ??

Does anyone have any clue what the phrase

"Years of the Locusts" would mean?

I've been hearing that for the past few days....and was wondering if that meant anything to anyone or what....

Read Joel chapter 2 and ask God about it all but especially this part...

V 25 says:
"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten"


Locusts could demolish crops totally, till not a leaf remained, causing famine.

Restoration is always God's promise to His people when we've been attacked in such ways.

I've been hearing that for the past few days....and was wondering if that meant anything to anyone or what....

Shortage of food [ Hunger ] I and many others have been hearing the same thing. God has even been compeling my mother who is in her late 70s and seldom actually hears Gods voice [ in the audiable sense ] to be concerned over food shortage.
There are several things it could be that would cause widespread food shortage. An intense winter so intense it actually shut down food delivery would be one VERY good possibility. Even war would have a hard time shutting down the delivery of food suuplys the delivery routes could be changed--alternated. It seems when you look at all the possibilities a SEVERE WINTER is the only thing that could shut down delivery of supplies. I live out here in Kansas out in the middle of no where and a single storm that shuts down the hiways can cause great trouble we have one Grocery store and i have seen it emtied completly before a coming storm and remains empty till the roads open. We have forgoten just how much we rely on our delivery routes for supplies no matter if its a city or a small country town.
God is letting us all know something is coming that is going to effect our food supply and there are things we can do right now to prepare.

Many times Knownbeforetime when we are waiting for direction from the Lord we are missing the direction that is right at our feet.
We are waiting to receive guidence from the Lord concerning our life when in fact the Lord has put us right were He wants us to serve at that very moment. You ask for a word and this is what the Spirit has given me for you.
You are looking towards the horizon and waiting for direction.
Cast your eyes from the distance and look at what is right around you, right were you are standing. God has something for you to do right where you are only you are not seeing it because your eyes are looking into the distance and your service to the Lord is right at your feet.
Many times as servents we must lower our heads and lower our eyes to see how our Lord wants us to serve Him.
It seems once we are deciples of Christ our feet are standing were God wants them to be standing.
Were you find yourself at this moment is not by chance God has placed you right were you are at.

There you are! Last night, I got a word for someone named Rita who just posted on one of these prophetic encouragement threads. Unfortunately, my natural mind was thinking that you posted in Oscarr's thread, so when I went there and saw that you hadn't posted, I thought maybe it was a false prompting. I then brushed the word aside. So it was this prophetic encouragement thread that you posted in! I apologize if this doesn't sound accurate because I am just going by memory here. I've learned a big lesson to write things down when I get them.


I heard "I lift You high and bow down low." Along with it comes "You must increase; I must decrease, Lord."

I also asked the Lord how He sees you and what He loves about you. Then I heard "a gentle spirit."

If I remember anything else, I will post it.
