I really need a word right now.

Are you ready to step into your destiny and stop hiding? The Lord says He has a mighty workahead of you. You will see signs and wonders like never before, people saved healed and delivered in Jesus Name. Get ready !

I tried to write poetry that was just about the beauty of nature, but God came and interrupted it, so here is the latest rendering, not exactly personal testimony for I came to Jesus at age seven, but I know what it is to stand in awe of God's creation.

Peace and Tranquillity

It was a lovely warm summer’s day,
A day for leaving behind life’s pressures,
And venturing out for a peaceful day away,
Leaving behind the crowds of suburbia I ventured.

Driving into the quietness of the country side,
A bag packed with goodies for a picnic in tow,
Using my map book for a guide,
Arriving at my destination I gazed at the beautiful meadow.

A stream trickled through it’s midst and this I photographed
For the sun shone so brightly on this cloudless day,
And there was such beauty and peace in all I perceived,
Then I fed crusts to some birds and they flew away.

Then it was time to relax and just read a book,
If I were at home I would be wondering what to cook?
And not another soul during that afternoon came into sight
It was stress free and I felt that all with the world must be right.

I began to reflect on all the beauty that I beheld,
Somehow all the theories of evolution that I had heard,
Didn’t seem to cut it anymore for surely, there must be a Creator,
The beauty of the meadow, the stream, distant hills could not just evolve.

If there truly was a God I wanted to find Him,
But which one there were so many different religions?
Some folks said that all roads lead to God,
But I felt deep within I couldn’t give my agreement and nod.

Then God placed someone in my path who told me Jesus was the way.
That only through Him could I find truth and purpose in life,
So I asked Jesus into my life and started on a new journey,
One that brings peace in the midst of storms and strife.

For now I have Jesus to guide me though my life,
And he has promised to me an abundant life,
He has given me a peace and wonderful joy beyond measure,
For when I came to Him I found my greatest treasure.

I have a hope and a future you see, a hope in heaven,
I did not know what it was to love, I was my greatest concern,
My needs and living for me was what drove me on reflection,
But now I have found the Lord Jesus Christ and He is my greatest possession.

Friend, if you don’t know Jesus let me tell you He is the only way,
For you to find true meaning and hope in this life,
Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your life today,
He will give you peace and joy and a real reason to live.

I had this dream a bit ago and was wondering if anyone had any word what it could mean. I dreamed that my Mum set up to meet this guy on a date. (Now I doubt very much if my Mum would do that in real life..)

But anyway, he was at my house and for some reason he had a sore throat. So I ended preparing some food for the date.. in my mind I felt pressured into the whole situation. anyway, at first i didn't really take to him but by the end of the date we were holding hands..

Any thoughts what this could mean ?

I can't say I have clarity on this but it could be that the Lord wants you to see that your mother may be praying for you, for the right man to come into your life, and if she is wary or critical about some of your friends it may be she only has your concerns at heart and wants you to be led by the Lord as regards relationships. Also your first impressions are not what you should judge by, be Spirit led as far as relationships are concerned, don't be in a hurry to look for the right man. Put the Lord first and let Him guide you to the right man at the right time.

I believe the Lord would say to you "Like any loving parent I care about the desires of your heart, I am your Father and I want you to entrust me with leading you to the right man for you at the right time, just let me take you by the hand and I will direct your paths in relationships and for your whole future."

Okay, before i start, my disclaimer:

What i was getting:

U are getting worn out in serving. And like a hummingbird (flap their wings incredibly fast), ur gonna burn out if keep at a high pace, because people were made to have periods of rest. God is pleased with u and your work. It is acceptable to him. But now is time to take a cool down. relax, possibly even allow some other people to serve u a bit. Get in the presence of God. He has some good stuff for u (and dont think this is a command, take it like a friend inviting another over for play, its optional. And dont let your joy be taken because ur trying so hard to get the good stuff).

So far what i am getting is that the love connection is representative of an apartment or wherever ur staying (or had planned to get in the near future), and u arent satisfied with it, but God is going take the pieces that seem to be "oh i have to take of this" and "i have to take of that," (having to cook the food) and bring them together/make it whole. I also saw that God was going to start giving u treats (nice somethings to help keep u going), and as u went through one treat, he grew another one so u had a fairly regular stream. God wants to take weight off your shoulders, so the more u ask, the more he will help out. The apartment/place of stay can be survivable, just remember to rely on God.

Irene, i wanted to honor u because it appears u try to pour into this thread, so i asked God for a word for u. This is what i got:

U do ministries thru ur home. And sometimes they dont always come out the way u might like, but i saw as u walked on throughout life, ur ministry happened to be full of fruit, and then after a time, instead of a lot of little fruits coming out, single large pieces of fruit started to come out, and then after that money started to come out. But after the money starts slowing down, it means its time to start pouring into/training/teaching others, and after u have been putting into others, u'll start producing containers (not exactly sure what he meant by this, i saw containers with lids on them, could represent salvations, or spiritually established people, or ...). I believe God is saying that even the angels have seen what u have been doing, and ur doing a good job.

The Lord says you are so precious to Him, He loves your heart, He loves the way you worship, hold your head up high for you are a daughter of the King of Kings. Know the rest and peace that He gives because He has got everything you stress about covered. He is the Perfect Father who wants to lavish good gifts upon you His child and to calm each and every storm you face in this life. He says you are a beautiful daughter.

That was really refreshing, thank you, I really needed to hear that.

i hear the word "faithful". You are faithful when it comes to the Lord. Continue to pursue Him and love Him. You remain faithful and God will con't to bless you.

You will notice that I don't put disclaimers like this with the words that I give. I have learned that once I believe that the Holy Spirit has given me a word to give someone, I use my faith and give it with confidence. If I believe that what I have got for someone is from the Holy Spirit, there is a better chance that they might believe it too. But if if put a disclaimer like this with my words then I am giving the person I am prophesying to a doubt as to whether my word actually comes from the Holy Spirit or not. Therefore, if I don't fully believe that my word is genuine, then why should I expect others to believe it?

I believe that the key to giving prophetic words is faith and obedience. I don't pre-judge or self-judge the words I give. I allow the person receiving the word to make that judgement. Once I believe that what I am giving is inspired by the Holy Spirit, the I give it in obedience and faith. I believe that what is not of faith is sin; therefore, I would believe that I would be sinning if I put a disclaimer with my prophetic words because I would be introducing a hint of unbelief; and unbelief is sin.

You already have feedback that your words are accurate. Why then let the enemy sow seeds of unbelief and doubt and induce you to put a statement with your words that would sow doubt in the minds of those who receive it?

I think that it is because you lack confidence in your own prophetic ability. I have every confidence in you, therefore I would have absolutely no problem if you would give your words as from the Lord, in the Name of Jesus, without the disclaimer. I would expect others who are expecting your prophetic word to have the same attitude as me. You have proved yourself by the fruits you have displayed. People are accepting your words as from the Lord. It is about time you had the confidence to give them as from the Lord too.

Here is another point. Prophecy is an inspiration gift. It is not the Holy Spirit dictating the word of God directly. The Spirit gives you an impression - a seed thought - a Scripture. It is then up to you to extend the theme, in faith. The miracle is that as you interpret and extend the seed thought that the Spirit has given you, the Holy Spirit transforms what you are saying into His encouragement, comfort, and exhortation to the person accepting your word. Prophecy is a wonderful mixture of the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and the words of interpretation that you also add to it. It is a merger of two hearts of love: The Holy Spirit expressing Jesus' heart of love, coming through the filter of your heart of love to the people you are ministering to .

When a preacher preaches "in the Spirit", it is the same function. While the preacher is preaching the sermon, the Holy Spirit comes through it in a prophetic way, and people in the congregation get the strong sense that the Lord is speaking to them directly. I have had this experience, sitting in a church of 400 people, yet knowing that the preacher is speaking to me as if I was the only person in the room. That preacher did not know me from a bar of soap, and yet it was as if he was giving me accurate personal counselling. That could have only been the Holy Spirit. I would call that prophetic preaching. Dr Martyn Lloyd Jones calls it "preaching in the Spirit." It is when the Holy Spirit breaks through and speaks directly to people through the preaching. It is a wonderful thing when it happens.

Prophecy is much the same. You are speaking to a person and actually saying to them, "If Jesus was here, He would say..." The wonderful mystery of the working of the Holy Spirit is that through the words of our hearts, the Holy Spirit can make His word known to another person's heart.

Some people think that they have got prophecy all worked out, and they like to legislate what is, and what is not prophecy. They forget that God's ways are past finding out. His ways are not our ways. God is always bigger than us. He always does the unexpected, out of our slice of knowledge; why? because He is God and He wants us to know that there is no-one else like Him, and that we will never be able to fathom the depths of His knowledge and the ways that He will love His people.

So be encouraged. Go to the next level of faith and confidence. Trust God to speak through you, and do not limit Him by putting disclaimers on your prophetic words that might imply that you don't fully believe that the Holy Spirit is speaking through you. If you want to inspire faith in others, you need to absolutely believe it yourself.

Rose who is God? Who are you in Christ?

Seek the face of the Lord, discover more about His nature and the same power that raised Jesus from the dead will bring about restoration for you and restore the years the locusts have taken.

God is a big and Mighty all powerful God- satan is a wee tiny puny devil

The Lord loves you, He really does, you have to start believing it.

God is for you, He is not against you.
