But the enemy wasnt chasing u, he was just stomping his feet (to scare u away). U were making progress. And instead of running, if u stand ur ground, itll be like giving the enemy a groin shot. Jesus is the Truth. His Word is reliable because He is faithful and will always stand behind it with His integrity. He is the Person who cannot and will not lie to you when He gives you a promise from His Word. Therefore His Word is utterly dependable. It says &quot;Let God be true, and every man a liar.&quot; This is the comparison that the Lord Himself puts upon His Word, and the words that come from the world, the flesh and the devil. You will hear many voices speaking to your mind, wanting you to go this way and that. But don't be blown around by every wind of doctrine that comes from the mouths of men. Search His Word for yourself and ask the Lord to reveal His truth to you. As you continue to seek Him, you will start to recognise His voice, and be able to distinguish it from all the other voices. Because of the Holy Spirit within you, you will know the right way, the way of righteousness, because as you read His Word, and fellowship with Him in prayer, your spiritual senses will develop and the voice of the Lord will become clearer to you. He said that if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. Therefore seek the Lord while He may be found, and you will know the Truth more and more, and be set more and more free in your heart to fellowship with Him and serve Him.

I believe the Lord wants me to give him those scriptures.

Ecc 12:1 Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and no longer enjoy living.

I don't know what it is but I believe he has had a recent disappointment, something that is hurting him right now, the Lord will heal every hurt and he has something better ahead for him.

Psa 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds (NIV)

Isa 51:3 The LORD will surely comfort Zion
and will look with compassion on all her ruins;
he will make her deserts like Eden,
her wastelands like the garden of the LORD .
Joy and gladness will be found in her,
thanksgiving and the sound of singing. (NIV)

Even although he feels he is in the desert and is hurting the Lord is going to bring comfort, he will bring real joy and happiness to Him. He must keep his eyes focussed on Jesus and he will find new doors opening, abundance, freedom from fear and best of all he will be conscious of the Lord just pouring his love upon him.

I could sure use a word from my Lord (Jesus, not Oscarr, but he can be the vessel)

I don't think you need to worry about that too much. Every time I try to act like the lord and master around home, my wife well and truly puts me in my place! Ha ha!


Jesus is the living Bread. When you eat ordinary food, you get hungry again, but when you feed on Jesus and eat that spiritual bread that He supplies, you are fully satisfied. When you were young in the Lord, He could only feed you the milk of the Word, but as you are growing in maturity, he is able to progressively feed you with strong, more substantial spiritual food. He is extending your capacity to be able to take in deeper insights and revelations that come out of Scriptures that you have read before and thought you understood them. This is because He is taking you deeper into His Word and what it means to you.

The times of dissatisfaction and dryness that happen to you are not signs of any spiritual problem in you. It is because the Lord has increased your capacity for Him, and what filled you to satisfaction before, no longer satisfies. You hunger for more of Him and a deeper understanding of His Word, therefore you seek him with more determination and concentration than before, so He can fill the empty void created by His extending of your capacity.

This is the process of growing in grace. The growth in you is gradual, and you do not see it day by day, but over a longer period of time when you look back at what you were before, you are able to see the extent of your growth in the Lord. This is not an occasion for pride, because the growth is not your doing. It is the workmanship of the Lord within you. But it is an occasion for joy and rejoicing in the Lord, that He has His eye on you and is control of your progress in Him.

Do not limit yourself to the opinions and guidance of those who are not growing at the same rate that you are. Some are stunted in their growth and their faith because they have areas they have not yielded to the Lord. Do not be limited and swayed by their criticisms of you, or their words when they say to you, "You cannot do this, or cannot do that." You are only limited by the will of God in your life. The fear of man is a snare for you. Nothing is impossible for God, and therefore nothing is impossible for the person who is walking in the centre of God's will. His will creates your future, and there are things that you will enter into that you have no conception of at present, because they do not exist yet for you. But God, the creator, will create them for you in due time.

Therefore, seek to be in the centre of God's will for you. The awareness and knowledge of this comes with fellowshiping with God in prayer, and the study of His Word. He has giftings for you to enter into. Get to know what they are, and enter into them without fear.

i need a word about my prophetic gift

For some the word comes dramatically like an earthquake or a fire, and for others it comes as a still small voice speaking deep in your heart. But whatever way it comes, as you fellowship with the Lord in prayer and are much in His Word, you will recognise the voice of the Good Shepherd, speaking by the Holy Spirit, in your heart. The word will come to you in response to your love for others. The word comes very clearly to those who love others and reach out to them to encourage and comfort them.

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Look at the love and compassion of Jesus as He ministers to others. This is the kernel of prophecy. When you give a word to someone, you are sharing the love and compassion of Jesus with them. You are uplifting the drooping soul from the depths of despair and despondency. Your obedience makes the difference between being paralysed by fear and being set free to rise up like an eagle in faith, trust and rejoicing in the Lord. You minister life to others when you give a word in obedience to the prompting within you.

The word that you speak brings the creative power of God into the lives of others. He creates things that did not exist in their lives through the words that you speak. Remember, the spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet. It is you who speaks in the Name of the Lord in obedience to that still small voice that speaks in your heart when you seek Him for the right word in season for that person.

The Lord is working in you to extend and improve your gift. Allow Him to do that. Launch out in faith to new horizons in the prophetic and trust Him to support and guide you. Do not limit yourself through fear of error or failure. Faithful is the Lord to you who will not allow you to fall. Do not be afraid of the faces of those who would withstand you. They are not hearing the voice of the Lord. Remember, your spiritual enemies can be those of your own spiritual household. Withdraw from them into the quiet place with the Lord, and He will lead you in the pathway He as assigned to you.

.... let it reflect your individuality, and don't listen to the confused voices of legalistic rule-multiplying types telling you that some particular style presumably "glorifies the devil" just because it doesn't reflect what their generation or their local subculture wears. you don't need to obey human prejudice in this. God made you to be an individual. More importantly than just self though, God made us all to be individuals, and others need to see through healthy, happy believers embracing diversity, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, not in our threads by brand name or someone's idea of social acceptability and lookalike conformity.

As long as you bes appropriately modest -- meaning not seeking to show off your flesh as a tempting attraction or snare to others, not using fashion as a competition with others to make yourself queen bee, and not wasting excessive money upon decorating yourself -- you may wear what you wish and not trouble yourself over this question again.

The first impression i got was that u were concerned for someone else, possibly a brother. The brother may not be where he could be in God, but I believe God is saying that if u pray for him, it will help that person be drawn closer to God than he would have been otherwise. It might also help u to keep up ur relationship with that person.

I also got an impression of books. And an impression of flight. And i believe God was saying that if u want to fly (whether in real life or in God), u have to have knowledge and understanding to be able to do it. Seeking after these things, by asking God for them and trying to study up will help. And once u know how to fly, u dont have to come back down, because u've been changed and now have what is needed to fly. Once u get into flight, u may be entrusted with a warfighter, because since ur already up there, u have the basic skills to do things that others cant, as well as to take out enemies others cant, and catch up with God in ways that are only available to flyers. And remember, if ur plane gets shot down, u still have a parachute, where God can get u back to camp and give u another plane.

The Lord says you are so precious to Him, He loves your heart, He loves the way you worship, hold your head up high for you are a daughter of the King of Kings. Know the rest and peace that He gives because He has got everything you stress about covered. He is the Perfect Father who wants to lavish good gifts upon you His child and to calm each and every storm you face in this life. He says you are a beautiful daughter.
