I am in awe of God
I have been away from God without realising it, Then on Tuesday I realised I has lost the ability too call sin, sin. I realised I had been compromising sin in my heart, I praise Him that He gave me His Grace so that I could repent.
Last night as I listen to a worship song I know God was touching my heart with His Presence and a purifying fire to cleanse deliver and heal More Lord I want to know Your Presence Purity and Power more and more.
Irene Freedom and friends here, please continue to pray for me because I have begun to feel the Presence of the Lord and I want to continue to press in

Praying for you Karen. That you may find His face and continually feel His love all of the time. You radiate God's love already......you are a sweet and precious person.

WOW! A pastor from my local area went to the Florida revival on behalf of our city for a bit over a week. His wife had a vision of the Olympic torch relay and God told her that he will spread the flame amongst his people, like the torches ignite one another in the race. So he went to get the impartation so he could pass it on to hungry people in our city. He got back the other day and held an impartation meeting tonight and I went along and boy was it amazing!!
I took a friend who is from a very traditional alliance church and she had never seen the Holy Spirit moving amonst people before so she was a little freaked, but I think she liked it in the end.
Anyway, he layed hands on people who wanted to 'catch the fire' and wow, I just went straight under in the presence of the Holy Spirit. God revealed himself to me and it was simply amazing.
Also, during worship it was awesome, from all the different areas in our city people had made little banners and they held them up. We had a time where we all just cried out to God to bring revival to each of our areas, sooo awesome!!!!

I do have one prayer point though, I was speaking in tongues during part of the meeting and then when I left the meeting I got a stabbing pain in my tongue that won't go away.
My Dad rebuked whatever it was, however i'm still in some pain. My whole jaw started aching so bad too, but that has gone now.

Maybe it was not something necessarily to rebuke...but simply a reminder for you to think and remember the things that happened that night. The Lord does work in mysterious ways. He can put a pain in your tongue to make you remember.

Hi - I too would like prayer and would love to know if God speaks to your heart on my behalf. I am at a huge fork in the road and neither path seems to be a clear one. Thanks !! God bless you all.

I have been there as well. What helped me was to get to a place where I totally surrendered...stepped back and said..."Here God....you tell me where and I will go." He then closed doors and opened others.

Maybe it was not something necessarily to rebuke...but simply a reminder for you to think and remember the things that happened that night. The Lord does work in mysterious ways. He can put a pain in your tongue to make you remember.

Felt like this passage was for you, didn't really get an intepretation for it though, sorry. I think you might just have to pray about it.

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

I have a troubling situation at work. However, I feel a strong peace from God about it. I need God's direction as to what I am supposed to do. This situation is very delicate. I need God's wisdom and direction. Thank you for your prayers.

Just reposting this and to add something. Last night, the most calm and peaceful Spirit rested on me. It was amazing. I was in my room just worshiping and praying and I just felt the Holy Ghost all around me. I felt Him just flowing through me. I felt Him just hugging on me and filling me up with Him and His warmth. My hands once again burned with His Fire. HALLELUJAH!!!!

Praise the Lord, wow that is so encouraging, thanks Mark, it came at the right time!!!

Ughh i'm just having the most shocking night. My brother who used to be a strong Christian but has been slowly becoming more and more lukewarm was a bit of a mess tonight. He called me just before and asked me to drive out and pick him up from a party, when I got there he and his friends all crammed in my car and I took them home. He was really drunk though and we had to stop every 5 minutes for him to throw up and dance in the street . It was really horrible, I had tears in my eyes the whole drive home, I've never seen him drunk before and it was just broke my heart. He's in the living room right now throwing up.
I don't know if I should talk to my parents about it tomorrow, my brother wouldn't want me to tell them, but I think they might like to know and try and help him.
I've been praying for him constantly for his faith, but ughh, it's just so hard to see him like this.

I think you're right. Thank you for being obedient.
I know exactly what that means.

Morning! Almost out of money now, waiting to see if God will help.

Hey there. I know KNOW this is for you. I was just reading about God meeting our needs, and while it applies to me as well, for I am in the same boat, here you post this as soon as I am done. So, I truly believe God wants you to know this.

In Hebrews 3:1 it says that Jesus is "the Apostle and High Priest of our profession". The word profession can also be translated confession. Referring to what we say. The literal translation is "to say the same thing". So, let's say we are broke, sick, etc. and we come to the Lord in prayer and stand (or kneel) and say "I'm sick, I'm hurting, and I'm broke". What will Jesus do in that situation? I'm sure He would have sympathy and compassion for us, but given Hebrews 3:1 what would He do? NOTHING. Because He isn't going to bring more sickness (not that He does), financial disaster upon us. So, basically His hands are tied to help us. Until we change our thinking and begin to say the right thing. So, in our natural mind, we think well why in the world hasn't He delivered me from this stuff? He did. 2000 years ago on the cross. The problem is we haven't received it. When I got this, it just smacked me hard.
think about a radio and it not receiving good transmission. If you can't get the clarity on it, do you call the manufacturer and say the radio is broken? no. You just fiddle with it and get it tuned in and change batteries if you need to. Why can't we be like that with the Lord and what He is trying to tell us? We need to have faith in God for trusting in Him knowing He can do what He says, but we also need to have faith toward Him, in other words, having confidence in Him that He can do it. George Mueller said to the Lord everytime He opened the Word to pray "Lord, teach me your Word. Make it real to me that I may have the faith to know I will have the petitions I bring before You today".

So, HD, I pray you receive this in the way it was meant.

The word "trust" came to me while I was praying for you. I wasn't praying 20 seconds and I immediately got that word.

If the Lord reveals anything else to me I'll let ya know.
