Everyone sins while still in this life and body on earth. That is not my experience. I was fake before I joined a Pentecostal church. But it was still 6 years before I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. And you don't have to be in a Pentecostal church to repent of all sin and receive the Baptism. Many non-Pentecostals are free from sin, the number one result of the Baptism. Pentecostals go on from there to receive gifts that non-Pentecostals don't want.
You are not sinless. You sin everyday I am sure. Any who claim sinless perfection are deluded sinners, full of a self righteousness. If you "turn from" sin, repent, that is, more sins shows the repentance was a lie.
You can't forge a relationship with God that is based on a lie.
BTW, I am perfect and never sin. (Since my repentance from sin)
Thankfully I won't be judged for the bad knees and glasses I must wear, but for my representation of Christ on earth now.
Sinners can't do that.
Everyone sins while still in this life and body on earth.
Brother, you will sin less and less as your faith grows and we do not have to stay long with our sin, as happened in the past with animal sacrifices because we have Jesus interceding on our behalf in the daily of the heavenly temple as our high priest for the forgiveness of our sins the moment you realized them. John was writing to believers, so I think 1 John 1:7-9 is for those who are already believers.Where is the repentance? And don't say 1 John 1:9 because that is how to become a Christian.
Yes, people sin less as they grow in Christ, but every one of us still sins as believers. We do not practice sin habitually, but sin here on earth. Only deluded religious hypocrites claim sinless perfection;Brother, you will sin less and less as your faith grows and we do not have to stay long with our sin, as happened in the past with animal sacrifices because we have Jesus interceding on our behalf in the daily of the heavenly temple as our high priest for the forgiveness of our sins the moment you realized them. Brother, given the quick removal of sin that Jesus offers in the "daily" of the heavenly temple, there is no reason to think we cannot remain sinless? We can deal with sin as fast as we breathe by asking Jesus to forgive us the moment, we realize sin in us. All you need to grow fast is the help of the Holy Spirit, since these charismatics live and breathe with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they can achieve what God wants and has given us Jesus to be successful. Brother, there is a “powerful delusion” to defend the Sunday tradition that replaces the Sabbath by linking it with Jesus as a celebration of the resurrection. Most follow the guidance of the flesh, not the Spirit.
I do not believe a woman who claims she had a vision with the fourth commandment circled, and spoke about an investigative judgment. This is false additional revelation that becomes a gospel of works, be careful my friend.
[Those who continue to sin DO NOT BELONG TO CHRIST.]
What do you do with ...Brother, there is a “powerful delusion” to defend the Sunday tradition that replaces the Sabbath by linking it with Jesus as a celebration of the resurrection.
Brother, refers to the special Sabbaths linked to the months that Jews celebrate and we do not, and that can not refer to the weekly Sabbath that God revealed to be "forever", that means there is no end, ever. What do you do with ...
"So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things
to come, but the substance is of Christ." (Colossians 2:16-17)
Colossians was written to "the faithful" saintsBrother, refers to the special Sabbaths linked to the months that Jews celebrate and we do not, and that can not refer to the weekly Sabbath ...
Brother, from God’s point of view, all the gentiles who have “come in” are part of Israel.Colossians was written to "the faithful" saints
in Colossae (and not to the unfaithful).
It wasn't written to Jews or Israelites.
And I am NOT a Jew or Israelite.
You should not follow a false vision by a false prophet.Brother, there is a “powerful delusion” to defend the Sunday tradition that replaces the Sabbath by linking it with Jesus as a celebration of the resurrection.
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NIV)
God in His wisdom has hidden a truth from the beginning that breaks that “powerful delusion” that has kept Bible students from questioning the Sunday tradition as a replacement for the true Sabbath of God.
The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.'" (Exodus 31:16-17 NIV)
The hidden truth that breaks the charm with the Sunday tradition is that Jesus did not resurrect on Sunday! United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge
Brother, here is the heavenly judgement that takes place before the coming of Jesus as revealed in Daniel. You should not follow a false vision by a false prophet.
There is no investigative judgment.
Christians are not Old Covenant Israelites. they have been set aside,mt 21:43
I know you are trying to helpful, but this woman was a deluded fanatic, so I do not pay attention to her teaching, it is false.Brother, here is the heavenly judgement that takes place before the coming of Jesus as revealed in Daniel.
As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze. A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened. (Daniel 7:9-10 NIV)
The order of events in the accounts that are repeating in greater detail in Daniel makes this judgment the event that takes place at the end of the 2300 year prophesy that William Miller believed was the coming of Jesus. Unfortunately, he skipped the heavenly judgment necessary to resurrect only the saved when Jesus returns, which began when he thought Jesus would return. The first resurrection is only of the saved, the lost remain on the ground to resurrect at the end of the thousand years. A judgment is needed before Jesus' return to determine the saved who will resurrect to go to heaven when Jesus returns. United in the hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge
"bmjackson,
[Brother your Calvisinism is a ticket to hell.]
Hello BMJ,
Tell me scripturally your objection to the teaching, and I will see if I can help you with it.
Calvinism when correctly taught and understood is the gospel as it has been revealed.
Many object to false ideas,{caricatures} of the teaching and not the teaching itself.
here is an idea of the correct teaching;
The 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith
I do not pay attention to those men. They were trying to understand the scriptures in their day, without many study helps we use.Hi there. I was a staunch 5 pointer (TULIP) until I began to study the scriptures for myself and not through Calvin's lens. Did you know that Augustines interpretation of Romans 7, the one you believe in, was unheard of before he brought it in during his disputes with Pelagius?
