All of these motions should have quite a noticeable effect on the supposed relative uniformity of gravity around an oblate spheroid. Not to mention the gravitational effect of other planetary bodies as they approach and recede from the earth.

And that's why a working physical model of earth's integral motion using gravity is inconceivable and not merely unprovable.

I think you'll find that every flat-earth measurement for the Southern Hemisphere is wildly wrong, none more so than the circumference of Antarctica.

Most flat-earth maps make the circumference of Antarctica at least 70,000 km: more than 4 times too big.

What's to explain? The Earth is roughly spherical, with a radius around 6370 km. Visibility of distant objects is exactly as would be expected for a sphere of that size.

I made this video as a way to edify Christians on God's creation but even more so to bring people to the knowledge and truth of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible (message to do that at end of video) through pulling them in with the truth of flat earth.

If you can't do the math yourself, there are lots of online calculators, like Earth Curve Calculator (although most of those don't allow for refraction).

1) Why do you so desperately want it to be flat?
I don't care if it's round, flat, triangular or a misshapen potato but pictures prove it to be round and it also looks curved out the window of a concord, not to mention that people have sailed around the world and other proofs that say it is round.

The only answer to the first has been given that it's Biblical -which it is not. The Bible only says it looks like a circle which both a flat round disk or a ball can look like from a distance. So at least we can know it isn't triangular.

To the second I have never been given an answer. If it truly is a hoax as huge as evolution you need a very good reason. What does a flat or round earth give anybody? Nothing that I can see.

Seems obvious to me. Teach humanity they are on a ball hurling through space. Take away their significance as one who is worthless and a random accident so they forget God. Tell them they are just another evolved animal and life has no meaning. Tell them the rest of space is filled with creatures probably far more advanced than they will ever be. It's an obvious long-term plan to pull God's greatest creation, man, away from Him, and to rule over them.

People think the lie is real, use it as justification for rejecting their Creator, and ultimately end up in hell because they love the lie over the truth. Why does it matter? Because it is one of the foundational lies on which the whole illusion stands, sending untold millions to their destruction. Once the lie of the ball falls, so does evolution, aliens, transhumanism, and every other deception associated with them. And the "hoax" has been going on for 2500 years, ever since the ancient Greeks discovered that the Earth is (roughly) spherical. All the great Christian theologians of the past 2,000 years have been part of it; none of them believed in a flat earth.

This response is a prime example of someone still living within the lie. I answered all of these concerns in my response, but you won't see how it's all connected.

As far as Christian flat-earthers is concerned, E. W. Bullinger, who wrote the definitive book on figures of speech in the Bible, was a diehard flat-earther as well. Keep looking, you'll find others.

The Eratosthenes experiment was, at best, inconclusive. Let's play a game. This time, before you respond with your usual declaration of 'nuh-uh', maybe you could first try to figure out why that would be the case.

The Eratosthenes experiment was, at best, inconclusive.

The Greeks knew that the world was round centuries before the Eratosthenes measurement.

In fact, for 2500 years anyone who has looked at the stars with even a small amount of insight has known that the world was round.
