Not so. The Qu'ran does not mention the writings of Paul.
If a lying spirit met Paul on the road to Damascus and claimed to be Jesus, this would not affect the integrity of the Qu'ran at all.

You are taking only one point and not considering all of the NT and OT. You may be able to single out certain parts and prove your belief; but you can not isolate everything in that manner, because sooner or later, you will see your shortcommings.

The Koran doesn't mention Paul because he was the Apostle to the Gentiles and mohammed never knew anything about him would be more like it.And, what's this about a lying spirit?

And, what's this about a lying spirit?
And YHWH said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
And there came forth a spirit, and stood before YHWH, and said, I will persuade him.
And YHWH said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
1Kings 22:20-22

Historically, a lying spirit has played a role in the divine plan.

How is the character of Paul's encounter on the road to Damascus similar to the character of Jesus' encounter with some of his disciples after the crucifixion?

Here is something very interesting I picked up on while thinking over the story of Judas.

Leviticus 27:3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

Leviticus 27:4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

Matthew 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

Judas sold Jesus to the temple at the price of a woman.

Would you mind rereading the verses that you quoted; but this time read several verses before and afterwards so that you can better comprehend the story. After you do that, I will respond to your allegations and put them in proper perspective for you if you have not already come to that point.
