Sounds like you're just parroting a few arguments you've heard and when asked to explain them-you can't, so you get upset and leave.

I don't blame you. I am wondering about this forum myself. I know that God does not ever give up on anyone, but it seems like there are so many people on this forum that have given up on God. They just do not realize how much deception they have gotten into.

I'm a creationist myself but a 6,000 year-old earth simply is not supported by evidence. On the other hand, physical evidence points to an older earth. I don't know how old either. Ignoring physical evidence, though, would be intellectual dishonesty. Arguing against the reliability of the methods used for aging materials would throw off a lot of established scientific knowledge. I believe that the Bible is God-inspired (but not necessarily other people's interpretation of it), but relying on it ENTIRELY for 'evidence' would not advance the debate on this topic. (Meaning, it's going to kill the exchange of ideas.) The reason a lot of people have a different viewpoint is precisely because they do not believe the Bible's authority.

I laughed upon reading this... Deception? You mean opening my mind to other possibilites is deception? I would feel sorry for you, but given further thought, I don't. You have the evidence laid out in front of you, but you choose to be blind towards it.

It would seem that you are so convinced of your own supreme holiness that everyone should immediately perceive the divine wisdom of your words and fall down and worship that little idol you have forged back in the dark corner of your mind.
If this forum is full of Godless atheists, then I suggest you leave them to God. You have done your best, and converted no one. Had God chosen you to enlighten the lost, you would know who was lost, and how to reach them, and you would have had some success. Were you chosen for such a ministry you would be smarter and more humble.

I am about fed up with the science forum anyways. It is just getting to be to much of a waste of time.

That is something I wonder about ALL the time. People tend to drive the christian out of here, saying things that are very offensive to christians. Then they sit around twiddle their thumbs, look at each other and say: I wonder when a christian is going to come along, so that we can have a conversation.

I think you should replace "Christians" with "creationists" in order to be intellectually honest. YEC are an insult to all that mankind has learned, IMO, and their constant pressure to make American science classes rampant with ignorance is also insulting.

The earth is old, evolution happens, and all the YEC does is confuse the issues and contribute to the ignorance that is spreading throughout this country.

You've heard it before, but in a hundred years YEC will be look at in the same manner as the people who thought the sun revolved around the earth.

Let's all catch up to this century, shall we?

I don't attack christians at all. I merely attack poor arguments that do not stand up to any kind of reasonable scrutiny. I have seen so many sites and pieces of scientific evidence against creationism now, and not one of them has been debunked.

Yes, maybe your right, maybe this is not the forum for me anymore. The people here have been ruined with to much of man's way of thinking, their deception is just to great. There are to many people elsewhere who want to learn about the love of God and the truth of God.

There are lots of different creationism theorys. But the main problem is that you can not mix truth with error. Science if filled with error, and it is just not going to mix with the truth.

God is Holy, Pure, Clean and Undefiled. He is just not going to allow His truth to be mixed in with man's error.

You're being intellectually dishonest here. You seem to want to believe what you feel you *need* to believe, you aren't interested in the truth or anything that contradicts your limited nonscientific paradigm.

I would suggest to you not to participate at all in tryng to instruct others-all you are doing is spreading ignorance of the scientific method. IF you want to converse with others who don't mind their own ignorance, I say go for it, however I think it's a very bad thing if you want to go spread ignorance of science to new groups of people who may not recognize your handicapped paradigm.
