Him being 88 makes it much less heartbreaking more heartwarming bc he wasn't going to be here on Earth much longer. Now bc of him those kids have the chance to live as long as he did. His family must be so proud of him. He died a hero. The kids' families must be so grateful.

Another thought.

I really really really hope this man was working at 88 bc he WANTED to work & have a good way to spend his days. If he felt he had to work at his age to make ends meet then that makes me sad. I think with a job like that it would be for the most part nice for ppl just wanting to get out of the house. So I hope that was the case for him.

Prayers for his family and loved ones but a lovely story of self sacrifice.. I bet those two children will remember him and his act for the rest of their lives, hopefully some day they will have peace in it, knowing what they were worth to this beautiful man..
