OK, so I'll admit that I'm a huge fan of Austen, and when I heard this was being released, I really felt compelled to see it.

I've seen the Olivier version. I've sat through six hours of A&E.

I thought it was a pretty accurate retelling, for being only two hours long. Yeah, it seemed rushed. Yeah, some of the details were blurred. The acting, however, was pretty good. Of course we received the same Elizabeth and Darcy, Jane and Bingly, as portrayed in the A&E version, sometimes down to a grin. But Donald Sutherland's portrayal of Mr. Bennet was exquisitely refreshing.

Has anybody else viewed it?
