If a candidate really crashes and burns, he may lose some votes. And a candidate who takes off like a rocket may gain some. But I suspect most people have made up their minds which way they’ll vote. And the debates won’t make much difference.
According to a poll reported on by one of the networks, only 3% of the people polled said that their decision could be changed by how the debate goes tonight.

That's amazing, and I don't see any reason for them to say such a thing if they actually are not absolutely committed to one of the candidates at this time.

How could you not know by now who to vote for? Or months ago?

Well
As predicted Trump cleaned Joe's clock...

I give Biden the one on the election results...but on the others Trump nailed him, especially hard on the riots.
Chris Wallace in a surprising turn did as much Damage to Joe as Trump did.

As expected, Trump is not capable of leadership. Hasn’t grown at all in the job. I will pass on future Presidential debates that involve this President.

My goodness, the President is a disgrace.
Politics in general is a disgrace.

However;
Trump won on Covid-19,
And the riots
And police endorsement
And the economy.
And the forest fires
And record of accomplishment

The paris accords was a tossup
So was healthcare

Biden won on the election results.

Biden can't claim high moral ground while name calling... hypocrisy is what you call that. Only Joe did that tonight.

In what universe is 200,000 dead Americans and a recession "winning"?
When he pointed out that Joe, who was already campaigning, said Trump was a xenophobic for closing the borders when he did... meaning that Joe would have waited longer and now Joe wants to put in place more lockdown restrictions everywhere.

Biden is going to Shut things down even farther. That will sure help us get out of the recession.

Both candidates lost on the subject of masks...

Trump acted like it was personal protective gear. Biden also wasn't clear and then pointed to some of the worst examples of lockdowns.

Masks aren't for personal protection they are for protecting others when you unknowingly have the virus. Asymptomatic carriers are the ones spreading the virus...not those who are sick at home.

Did Biden actually do this? I mean, it is possible but I'm smart enough not to just take Donald's word on something like that (or anything, really).

Yeah, Biden should have pointed out the deaths specifically resulting from e.g. Donald's Tulsa rally - one which had far fewer people than the number of attendees Donald claimed, by the way.
