I've not heard of it before~looked up Amazon expecting a first aid product have you used it?

My biggest question and a pressing need how to make your prepping dollars stretch for food storage so what I mean is is it possible to get say instead of on an expensive budget 6 months worth food storage get more food that lasts longer, look out for deals and stretch it to a cheaper budget for 1 year supply? How do you get more out of your money?

Eat what you store, store what you eat~never mind about the expensive freeze-dried/MRE/sorts of things..instead of two cans of soup get three, next shopping trip get another bag of beans, make your existing pantry deeper gradually instead of thinking it has to be done all at once...date and use oldest first, shop around store brands to find what you and family like best, stock up extra here and there and it won't be long before there is an extra month's worth, then two, then....

I've talked with many "prepper" mindset folks at work but they seem mostly obsessed with guns~~turn the discussion to food, water, medication and the conversation drifts away...

I will not be here after the Rapture. However, I do plan for emergencies. I have water, food, etc. I was caught in a blizzard in '93 and had no electricity for 15 days. While I didnt have any problems surviving, it was difficult. So, I am ready in case something like that happens again and so it will not be so tough next time.

Thanks for bringing some sanity to the discussions. The reason we have so much in America is that for the most part we want peace. peace comes from stable farms, jobs and schools. How much water do you store? I store 10 gallons.
