Thats interesting, I never heard of the Salem part referred to as Jerusalem, although I do get that Peace part and Jerusalem part. I have to look into that. I was thinking when some folks were calling Salem where Melchizedek was a King a pagan place (and his priesthood was pagan) I was scratching my head as to how on earth that could be. So then I was trying to look at it only in light of Melchizedek's priesthood (as far as it applies to the risen Christ) a light to the Gentiles (so to speak) in the whole comparing thing (backwards/forwards) and trying to catch a gimpse of that back there.

It's an intelligent question to ask How a pagan priest can be the priest of the most high God.

Why don't you ask your intelligent question to whomever posted the twisted concept, since any believing soul knows that Christ is the High Priest of God.

I do know it was benadamm who (like quite a few) who refer to him as a pagan King and that you are not saying that, I was curious as to where that idea might have come from and that since you refute the idea that maybe you might know something concerning it.
