and many Books to teach people the aim of their being here on earth
and what they should and should not do so they can go to Paradise and not to Hell
so a person himself decides his destiny be it Paradise or Hell
the first words you read in the Holy Quran is some traits of the Almighty Allah "the Most Beneficent, Most Merciful"
so how can He be not loving and Merciful at the same time?

Technically, Roman Catholics believe in predestination too.

Most christians believe every baby is born as a sinner.

Because of the sin of Adam (pbuh)

We muslims do not believe this.

Every child is born sinless .

Just so everyone knows, that has looked at the site Skill gave, the guy I posted has taken 5 text of the Qur'an and combined them, to make a more acurate Qur'an, since there are so many different translations of the Qur'an, so it will not be exactly the same thing, but it is actually better than just reading one version of it.
