Lord, today is the March For Life event in Washington, D.C. We pray for all those attending, that they may travel safely. We pray that Washington may hear those who are marching for the lives of Your blessed unborn creations. We pray for all those who are considering abortion, that if they feel scared of a new life to care for, that they may consider adoption. We ask of You to please bless all those who are marching for life today, that they will be a beacon of light to those who are suffering from the darkness of abortion. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

March for life
President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Kellyanne Conway, Cardinal Timothy Doland, and Sen. Jodi Ernst were among the people who spoke during the rally, to an excited and enthusiastic crowd. Other "sister rallies" took place in other parts of the nation.

Thank you dear Father for the witness of all these people and including the politicians,
Please save the unborn children, in Jesus precious name

an update on laws in Britain...from the Dail Mail

A proposed law dubbed ‘abortion on demand’ narrowly cleared its first hurdle in the Commons last night.

MPs voted by 172 to 142 to decriminalise terminations in England and Wales.

The Abortion Act, passed in 1967, did not decriminalise abortion, but made it legal if two doctors approve the procedure.

Yesterday Labour MP Diana Johnson’s Private Member’s Bill passed its first stage, meaning it will be debated further on March 24.

It is unlikely to become law, however, unless it is backed by the Government, but campaigners claim the Bill could pave the way for the legalisation by stealth of abortion after the current 24-week limit.

I haven't seen this as a sticky thread, and I thought it could be added if the mods wanted to sticky this.

The topic of abortion has been heavy on my heart the past few days and I wanted to make a place where we could all pray for the unborn children and their mothers, and for the mothers who are considering abortion.

Jeremiah 1:5 HCSB
"I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born."

Psalm 127:3 NASB
"Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward."

Job 31:15 NIV
"Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?"

Matthew 19:14 ESV
"But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”"

Lord, I pray for all those who have performed abortions, had an abortion done, are considering having an abortion, or are an abortion survivor. Let their hearts be turned to You in this time, Father. You formed us in our mother's womb. You formed every hair on our head, every freckle, every fingerprint. We are Your intricate creations. I pray for those who feel no guilt or shame of committing such an act, and that they realize what they did was a crime in Your eyes and that they turn to You. I also pray for those who are dealing with the grief and guilt of an abortion, that You may comfort them and forgive them. Amen

Amen!
