Don't hold yourself up to what you see in other people because you'll be doomed to fail.Being yourself is exactly how GOD wants you. Come as yourself to the foot of the cross. Please don't be focused on changing and don't ever EVER focus on changing once you become a Christian, things will sort themselves out all in due time. Jesus loves YOU. Not who you think he wants you to be once you're "perfect". Sin is sin, You are already saved. You were 2,000 years ago, you can be forgiven of your sins if you ask my friend. That doesn't mean GOD expects you to be blameless and never sin again. Honestly he'll want you to try not to but he'll know that you will sin again. Eventually the things that have ahold of you now will not even be desirable, That's how these "good Christians" become good. It takes time and much forgiving

Prayers that you open your heart up to the Lord, and allow Him to bring you close to Him. To love God with all your heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself, were two of Jesus' main commandments. If you follow those...strive everyday to follow those...then, you will be on your way. I left the faith for a time, and had a recent experience/encounter with the Holy Spirit and came back to the faith. Jesus is alive, and beautiful...and I will be praying for you.

You do not need to become like the other good Christians. Yes it would be nice to live a fruitful joyous life like others in your church family, but you do not need to worry about it or aim for it, for you will automatically have it all as you seek God, and your relationship with God get closer and closer. There might be things in life holding you back from what you wish to achieve, perhaps you try but it doesn't work. but this is why Jesus has come to set us free. (Isaiah 53:5)
Proverbs 3:1-6 gives good advice to read the scriptures and keep his words in your heart, many different verses in the bible will help you on your journey. Matthews 6:33 is a wonderful scripture to guide your path. Don't be too concerned to live up to standards, but rather, seek for a better relationship with God. Jesus was sent to save us for God already knew we can't live up to the standards. He does not expect us to live up to the standards, He accepts you just the way you are so you don't need to worry about not living up to standards. Jesus can help you live a fruitful life, for through him he washes away your sins, through him you can have a close relationship with our Father, He heal your pains, set you free. when you have all these, then all else you want will become automatic.

Salvation has been made very easy so all can receive it. Now you are saved you are a babe in Christ and must grow from there...
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: - 1 Peter 2:2
From there you must pray and find a good church. From there you will grow!
Father I pray for this member that she would open her heart to Christ Jesus, find a good church, and grow in the grace of our Lord. In Jesus name amen!
