If You starve to death, do it faithfully. He has already provided you a home in Heaven for after your death or rapture. Rather does He allow us to die in this way, but provides the job, or whatever it is we need. Don't worry, leave it to Him, trusting, praying, giving thanks, and He will provide you peace in the meantime. Philippians 4:6-8; John 16:33; John 14:27. 3 John 2

Amen, Brother! No matter what happens on this Earth, it is only temporary. I will put my back's strength into plowing through these hard times, for God is my backbone. Once again, you have provided me with amazing advice. Bless you, Brother, and I pray that you continue to be an inspiration for many more souls just like mine.

God knows when you're in trouble, he'll bring you out of it just trust in him. Ask him what you need to do and he'll give you instructions. God likes to test our faith and patience, all we have to do is pray and he'll do something out of the ordinary. We'll pray for you.

Nice picture! It showed as Natsu for a minute haha. Bless you and thank you for your words! I believe God is not the tester, but he allows us to be tested. Kind of like what happened to Job, if you will, even though Job's situation was way way worse than mine. God knows what we can and cannot handle, and He will never allow us to be tested more than we can handle.

I was feeling very down when I posted this, but after reading all this encouragement, not only are my spirits lifted, but I am making small plans with my wife to ensure we are giving all that we do to the Glory of God! How can we expect Him to go to the next level for us if we cannot go to the next level for Him? My heart is filled with joy as I type this. Praise be to you all!

Thank you so much for coming across this; even God is responsible for the little things. I have a prayer request and I will update this when it has been answered...

Due to mental health reasons, I left my job last April. Over the last few months, I have done 100 applications, got invited to 5 interviews, and offered 0 jobs. Yesterday I was invited to an interview that I thought I nailed; I was in tears going to my car. I was so thankful God gave me an opportunity such as that one, and wept with joy. I was for sure I was going to get it, but unfortunately I did not.

I keep saying to myself, "God must have bigger plans for me." I know His plan is perfect. I will never lose faith in Him. However, my back is against a wall over this next month. My wife just makes barely enough money to satisfy the bills and have minimal coming out of our savings. We tithe 10% still. She is pregnant and is going on leave at the start of September, and by the time the baby comes in October, everything we currently have will run out by November.

I'm doing applications like crazy over the next month. I have been doing just that, but I'm going to be even more aggressive and even applying for things outside my expertise. God wants me somewhere I can serve Him the best. Somewhere I can talk about Him to people who are lead to me through Him. Somewhere I will not have to be dishonest or lie or help others sin. I want this, I need all of this, in Jesus' name. As I say the Prayer of Jabez on a daily basis, and ask for a financial victory, please join me in prayers for my family. Pray that God will lead me to victory within the next month. I need Him more now than ever. I must not fail to let my family fall, for the stress is getting to my wife and myself.

If anyone has anything encouraging during my time of need, I would be appreciative of anything and everything. Any past experiences, any scriptures that come to mind, any specific prayers for this situation... I will be forever grateful to you all.

Even now, I can say having no job these past few months was part of his plan. The revival of my faith has affected my wife, her parents, my parents, and it even branches off more from there. It was definitely part of His plan, and He has made my family and I very happy and grateful.

Deepen his desire to follow your will. Inspire him as they contact potential employers. Give him patience as he wait for responses. Shelter him from feelings of rejection. Protect him from discouragement. Give him courage to overcome fear.

Just an update: I can see the Lord at work; I can feel God working things into place. I've received an interview tomorrow and Thursday. Both jobs would suffice my needs. I am praying earnestly for a miracle, and whether I fall or rise, He will be worshipped more and more every day in my household. With the revival my house has had, it is affecting the relatives around us, so in my mind I am already victorious.

Another Update: My cousin offered me good work with good pay, so I turned down a few interviews this week. He has taken advantage of me, trying to give me less than promised, and now I am trying to not regret all the opportunities I have missed trying to help family out. He even used God to get me on board with him, only for me to find out his actions speak differently than his words. I am broken today over this fact, for family has ruined opportunities. I might not even receive the little pay he promised me. I hold slight resentment at this time, but praying for Jesus to help me overcome this resentment and give me courage to come out of this situation the devil has put me in.
