TAW friends, I really need your prayers right now in dealing with personal flaws and the stress they cause. I won't go into details, but the level of stress is palpable.

It is interesting that recent events have forced me to come face to face with some of my greatest failings. It is not the sinful behavior that is an epiphany for me, I've always known when I'm falling short. What I was missing was the profound effect it has had on myself and people around me. It is not the behaviors that are shocking me, I know what I have failed at, but it is the selfishness and the inability to be fully present in relationships that I am only now realizing. While painful, this may all be an avenue to healing and growth (which by definition is painful) that will lead me to being a better person and Christian. I just pray that along with my healing will come healing for others I have affected. I will be meeting with my priest (who I have not talked with in a very long time) later this week, and hopefully he can help me with the beginning of the journey to peace and wholeness. Continued prayers appreciated.
