Praying for them that they will get home safely, whether able to post or not. Praying for the intercession of St. Maurice, patron of the military ...

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to Thy protection,
implored Thy help or sought Thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly unto Thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother;
to Thee do I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in Thy clemency, hear and answer me.
Amen.

Dear Lord,

Protect our loved ones in the military - whether it be in the Army, Navy, Marines or other branch. Keep them safe from harm, and bring them back to their husbands, wives, partners, girlfriends, boyfriends, parents, children and friends safely! I pray especially for my ex-boyfriend Corey who's stationed in South Korea. Keep him safe from harm there, and as the tensions between North and South Korea grow, watch over those in South Korea. I pray also for my friend Victoria's brother-in-law who's stationed in Afganistan. Keep him safe and bring him back to his wife! I pray also for my other friend's friends in the military (Lord, you know them).

Amen.

Dear Lord,

I ask that you look over our service and women, who risk death to defend our values and us. Please also remember those who love these brave people, as they must make sacrifices as well as their loved ones, a sacrifice I and many other people do not make in the same vein as them.

Amen.

Dear Father, be with our service men and women today as we remember and celebrate our Independence as one nation, under God. You have been so good to us and poured out so many blessings upon our country. Help us all to realize and remember that this freedom did not come easily. Help us always to always remember the men and women who have fought and who are fighting right now, as well as those who may be called upon in the future. Theirs is not an easy path, and Father I pray that You will be with them every step of the way. If they do not know You, let them. If they feel far away from You, help them to draw near. God, be with them, help them to look to You for every answer and direction. Bless them, comfort them, and keep them safe. In Christ's beautiful name I pray, Amen.

I will just pray according to Psalms 91

Dear Father, please keep your steady hand on Roy and his fellow service men and women as they endure the hardships in Afghanistan and all around the world. Keep Megan and Ryan and the other spouses, children, and family members left behind safe and warm their hearts with good memories of their loved one. Bless those who lost their lives, and guide those who have lost their loved ones safely and securely through their sadness. Let all those who serve and are lost in tragedy be raised to your lips and kissed with your blessing of eternal life. Warm us all, guide us all, enlighten us all. May many find the peace of your love and protection as we cherish you and worship you and love you! In God's name I pray, Amen.

Lord GOD I pray for the lives of those people that have taken it upon theirself to provide service to our country in order to protect the nation that we are living in and to keep our freedom. I pray they will be protected by YOUR angels. I pray their families will be protected also while they are gone. I pray for YOUR will to be done in their lives. I pray if they don't know Jesus they will find him while they are serving for our country. If they are on the battlefield, I pray for YOUR direction and mercy, and no lives lost. I pray for the well-bieng of their mind. I pray they will not be damaged by warfare physically, mentally, or spiritually. It is a lot to ask for Lord, but I know YOU can do all things. I pray this war will be over soon and for Jesus' return. I lift up this prayer for all of them, In the name of Jesus
Amen

Hi, I am in the Navy, and I want to request prayer that I can find friends where I am living. See I am from Michigan, and am assigned to Norfolk, the problem is I am lonely. I haven't made any friends since coming here to Norfolk expect for the friends I know at my command and I don't really hang out with any of them on a regular basis so I am really lonely. I have turned to some things that I shouldn't have turned to like porn and sexual things, but I went to my church tonight and felt an overwhelming presence of God and felt the strength to throw all those things away. I came home tonight and did just that, I deleted every single file I could find on my computer of anything that could be a temptation, I ripped the swim suit calendars off of my wall, and even threw out my swim suit magazines. Trouble is I still know I will be bored this weekend, I play video games so that takes up some of my time, but like my Pastor said at Church when you take out the bad problem you have to replace it with good, and so I want prayer that I am diligent in reading my bible, and that I don't stay in my apartment but that I get out and find something to do that is clean and good. I am trying to join a bible study group at my church but with my being in the Navy I am busy, but I am going to really put forth the effort to try and join a group even if it means joining one that meets on Saturday mornings when I love to sleep in. I have been in this spot many times before where I got rid of every thing that was a temptation, but some how I found my way back to the sin, I think what is different this time is....I want a girl friend, and hopefully someday a wife, I am not just in need of friends but wish I had a companion. I don't regret going into the Navy, I just wish I would have been more prepared for being on my own. I even am going to volunteer at a local soup kitchen just to find something to do.
