In The Aftermath Of Hurricane "CHARLEY"
Dear Friends,
Today I would like to ask all of you to please join me in praying for the hundreds of thousands of people in the State of Florida, who have suffered a devastating loss of homes, businesses, hospitals,schools,airports,.. just Everything! A lot of our residents have no electricity, water, food, phone services, etc. The death toll cannot be assessed at this time because several areas are inaccessable. We know that in some of the harder hit areas, death is inevitable. No one was adquately prepared, or expecting that Hurricane "Charley" would be as stong a storm, or bring so much widespread damage and destuction when it came ashore and continued on it's deadly path across the entire state. There are entire towns, villages, and large cities, that were literally wiped out! No buildings left standing, save the piles of rubble, left behind to indicate that they had ever existed. We are truly in a state of shock, but more so, is the sense that nothing will ever be the same again and our hearts are broken for our friends and neighbors who have suffered so terribly because of this horrible storm. Donations are being requested for those in need and can be sent to the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army branches in Southwest Florida.Make sure to indicate that your donation is for the Hurricane Charley victims, only! Please give whatever you can..And above all else..Please Pray.
Thank You. Love in Christ...Jeanie..A resident of Southwest Florida
