CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He listens to us very attentively.
When we ask Him for something, He supplies us with what we need. He is even able to give greater than what we ask for. Nothing is too difficult for Him.
When we are worried or upset, He responds to us as a parent soothes a troubled child. There is no better comfort than Him.
Our Lord is near to us, ready to meet our need. He is our provider, our comforter and our strength.

I remember a time some years ago when I felt so depressed that I didn't want to pray at all. I spent the time all by myself staring at a blank wall and getting more and more low in mood. I eventually broke the silence and told the Lord how I felt. I told Him I didn't feel like praying because I was so low. I felt God reminding me how much He loved me, that He was carrying me and would not let me go.
I have learned we should always continue in prayer even when we don't feel like it. The Lord is always listening to us.

thanks so much Anthony...He does hear us even when we cannot even pray. I think the HS is working 24/7 whether we are aware of this or not. I appreciate your sharing your testimony with us.
I too have been down, as I'm feeling all alone quite a lot lately, as trying to rest and recover at home, with near daily medical appointments. It leaves me unable to participate in services or programs that are religious.
Rare is the person who is interested in helping me or even visiting me. I have been reduced at this time to watching the mass online, and ordering groceries to be delivered to me as well as medical supplies.
Right now, however, I am heartened by your testimonies here in this sub forum, as well as prayers I am listening to on youtube for the Holy Spirit to come.....

Always great to hear from you joymercy and thank you for sharing. You are such a blessing to us on the forums. I enjoy reading all your posts. I wanted to reaffirm that you are never alone. You have your friends here remembering you in prayer. You have the Lord with you at all times. When we are feeling down, or alone, during our journey, it may seem that He is distant, we can rest upon the Lord and let Him do the carrying. He will never let you go.
