  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My sister in law has had targeted chemo on her liver and the cancer has spread to the bottom of her lungs, not good. But we will pray for healing, Dear Father bless and heal in Jesus name

Lord, you laid hands on the sick and they were healed. We pray in faith that you will touch musicalpilgrim's sister in law and give the healing that she needs. We ask you to heal her in body, and also mind and spirit.

Asking my friends here if they will support me with prayer.
I have some difficult decisions to make this week. I can't give much detail in this thread due to the risk of breaching another's confidentiality, but I need God to move through the situation so I can make the right choices.
I am tired and I am weak, but I need to be strong. May God fill me afresh with his Holy Spirit and give me the strength I need to become more like Jesus and to do His will.

Would welcome all your prayers for my tinnitus, fullness of the ears, and vertigo which has been bothering me this weekend and that I'll get the MRI result soon. Thought things had improved over the past few weeks, but all the symptoms seem to have returned. Hoping and praying the Consultant will tell me something that is helpful, and that he won't say that everything's fine when it is not!
