Thankyou so much,'musicalpilgrim' The doctor came to see me early afternoon. I have pain in the top of my right leg this past week. Trying to get out of bed 2.30am this morning I fell and my wife couldn't get me up and had to pull me toward the stairs where I was able to get up and continue. The doctor is sending the rapid response team to assess me and take some blood for results.

Doctors have given me pain.patches,but at the moment still in pain. They are sending someone to do blood tests this afternoon.

Hoping and praying that the pain patches will provide comfort and relief for your leg pain. Some patches might take 12-24 hours to get their full effect. The blood tests will help to rule out underlying causes for the pain, for example neuropathy (diabetes, CKD) clotting or rheumatoid arthritis. It could be due to any cause, so the bloods will help the doctors prescribe the right treatment for you.
