• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The problem is because I don't know what is happening on the end of the offended party, i don't know if the prayer has been answered or not. Therefore I don't know if this problem is truly open. God has not given me an answer in any way to confirm he did anything.
God is waiting for you to hand the solution over to him.
This means you don't get confirmation. That doesn't require faith.
Confirmation comes after your faith.

"Life is managed, not cured" -Dr. Phil

I pray constantly. Prayer helps me a whole lot:

1. It drowns out my intrusive, obnoxious thoughts
2. It brings me spiritual joy
3. It keeps my mind on celestial beings
4. It allows me to live vertically rather than horizontally
5. It reminds me to live to please God, not man
6. It keeps me from a childish fear of the dark when I turn in haha
7. It keeps me from feeling lonely, as I'm almost always alone

Exactly seven :)

Sometimes our prayers are not answered because it isn't God's will. Paul prayed for a health issue to be removed from him but God never did.

If this is about how other people are acting, then they have the free will to choose. Also, taking things into your own hands isn't always a bad thing. Maybe God wants you to do something. I would keep praying to find God's will in this situation.

Prayer changes me to accept what God has planned for you.
I can't change God's plans, but prayer allows me to accept them
as they are.
So God might have plans for this evil person to leek hurting me over and over again? So if I'm praying for goddG will I'm praying for hurt?

No point of prayer then against other people if we all have free will. God can't make us do anything.
