Hi, I have an idea for a prayer website (actually borrowing and slightly changing someone else's idea). I went looking and could not find a website exactly like this and I feel that it would be a very good thing. It would be a live prayer website for all Christians which would provide fellowship to all those visiting the site hearing the exact same prayer at the exact same time. The prayers themselves would be playing in a loop from pre-recorded audio prayers. What makes this work is that those visiting the website would be able to see how many other people are on the website praying with them as they participate in the same prayer at the same time, thus creating a strong sense of fellowship.
There is a Catholic rosary website (not putting a link to it because not sure of that is OK or not but it is very easy to find) that does exactly what I stated above with the rosary prayer, and that is what gave me the idea to do this but with other prayers that ALL Christians (not just Catholics) can pray together simultaneously in fellowship with each other. Imagine that you can pray the Lord's Prayer or the Psalms with thousands of other people online with everyone synced together hearing and praying the same words at the same time. No need to log-in to anything either - just be on the website and share in the current prayer. No forums, no denominations, no comments - just universal Christian prayer 24/7 and the online fellowship that comes from knowing others are having the same experience at the same time. You could look at a web-traffic counter and see exactly how many other people are praying that exact same prayer with you at that exact moment.
I was very surprised that no such website seems to exist (that I could find) and I think that is a real shame. I have no idea how to take it from idea to actual website so I am really here looking for any help doing this.
