Prayer requests.

I know there is another forumn for prayer requests but I was thinking our little community here could start a thread. It's so much easier for me to pray for people I know something about. If this isn't the place for such a thing...you can delete the thread. It's just I feel so much more comfortable here...with you all...my friends.

Anyways here's mine. My brother is divorcing his wife of 9 years. There are three kids involved. I am ministering to my sister in law and praise the Lord she is turning to God and seeking him out to be her strength through this. She also needs a job as she has been a stay at home mom for 9 years.

I have a prayer request. We have our house for sale and it's been on the market for about 2 months. Please pray that it sells soon. The stress of having it on the market is not helping my moods. I keep having to leave the house (my safety zone) when we have showings when I am at my most stressed. Silly to get so stressed I know but I do. Anyway your prayers are appreciated.

I've moved around so much, this last move 4 years ago I said would be my last...the next place my body is going to be is in a box about 6 feet underground...and my spirit will be in Heaven with Jesus, hanging out in my mansion

Father God, i ask you now to intervene inthis situation with the house for sale. We thank you that you have a plan. We know here on this forum how difficult it can be to leave our safety zone, we ask that you would hasten the sale of this home and to help walshcaln with all the dtails and scurry of moving and to help her quickly feel safe and at home in her new home. Father God it is your desire that we would feel safe, so I ask that you would provide her a safe place to live and the feeling of sfaety even when she is away for a house showing. Lord help to stabilize her moods during this time of change. In Jesus precious name, Amen

Please pray for my pastor. He confided in me that he was struggling with depression. He had tried to go off his medication only to have a relapse and is now greiving the idea of "needing" medication. I can only imagine the strain of being depressed and having to be the spiritual leader of a congregation...not to mention it being your job to meet and greet people all sunday long.

Please pray for him.

Also, I have a request. My husband is having some job issues. 1st he was laid off from his job. It seemed to take forever to find another one and then when he did, he really hates it. I honestly think these things have happened for a reason. Just recently a job came up and he applied for it. This is THE perfect job. Its what he's been looking for for years. I wonder if all this happened because this job was really meant for him. Anyway, I would really appreciate any prayers anyone could offer regarding this. If he gets this job, we will be so set for the rest of our lives. I just know it was meant for him. Its just too perfect not to be. Ok, I'm rambling. Thanks in advance for the prayers.

Please continued prayers for my brother (the one for whom I started the thread). I now believe he too may be bipolar and need treatment which he refuses. He is on a downward spiral and doesn't have God in his life and he is destroying his family. Pray for salvation and if he needs treatment pray he will open up to the idea.

Also pray for his wife, for a job and praise the Lord she has started attending church and is being blessed by her congregation more than I could have hoped for. She is turning to the Lord and is bringing the 3 kids with her. Half my prayers for this family is being answered.
