I'm struggling with a pain flare. This occurs when I don't have physical therapy (usually 3x a week) and he's out of town until Tuesday still...(no PT this week either).

The new pain MDs office finally returned my call after a week of my contacting them... they called nearly 8 pm last night saying they'd check on things on Monday. I am without the pain medicine script in the mean time. The anti inflammatory can only be taken 5 days in a row, I'm on day 3.

God can solve this immediately. Father please.

I'm glad to say I'm down to 1 crutch now and no boot since starting physio on Monday. Foot is still a bit swollen and sore, but it's all part of the healing process. My next appointment at the fracture clinic is for Monday.

Very thankful to the Lord.

Well, my sister has an appointment with Hospice tomorrow morning. The doctor said our mother is sleeping nearly all of the time now and she is at the end of her time.

Funny, I thought I was ready, but I feel really sad inside. Just keep me and the family in your prayers. I don't know how long she could linger. May know more tomorrow.

Shirley, has called for David's son to come down from Blackpool
We have assured Shirley, that she needs only to let us know 'her needs'
at any time of the clock

Having cared for many family members at home in their last days, and as a Hospice/Visiting nurse, I found dying at home to be such a blessing to all....if the family has good support.

God bless them both
