CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for my friend's son,Lindsay, and his family. To make a long story short, her son is a Christian and wife is too. Wife began doing some bizaare things--left him and small children and having affair with another. She has been diagnosed as bi polar but wont take her meds consistently. Custody battle etc. just a bad situation. Please pray however you feel led. Thanks.

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST~~
One of my close friend's brother is very suicidal right now. He is out of town and she is unable to reach him right now. His name is Larry. Many details I wont go into but just please pray accordingly. (She lost her other brother about a year ago to suicide.)

This is the update from my friend about her brother
~"Larry is somewhat stable; I'm going to be bringing him to Dallas tomorrow. He'll need to go into rehab and then housing. This is all new to me so I am really leaning on the Lord as He orders my steps. I'm blessed that he's reached out and trusting the Lord to do great things through this and bring restoration in many areas of our family. Thank You, Lord..."
