• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

 All is well with Mother and Baby

The induction was opted-for
#because Mum noticed a big reduction in Baby's movements
a scan was carried-out, but was inconclusive
and the early delivery, may have avoided difficulties developing

Phil looks really-tired, in the FIRST FEW pictures ...[a Long Night :)]

 Thank you God
:amen:

Many thanks to those who posted replies to my message about my mishap and for your prayers. It was quite a clean break apparently, but the bone was also pulled out of the joint so they had to manipulate it back into position before putting it in a cast. Because they were able to do that surgery was avoided, but before I could be discharged, I had to see the occupational therapist - not sure what they are called where you live - about aids I would need at home and she wasn't there Friday, Saturday or Sunday. They also told me the physios would also have to be satisfied that I could hop up onto a platform using my walking frame which was supposed to be like me hopping on to the step at the front door at home. I couldn't do it to their satisfaction on my first attempt, but managed it by the Monday. I asked what would have happened if I still couldn't do it by then and they replied that I would just have to get someone to help me! We actually have a different system at home, but isn't that always the way?

I had my cast changed yesterday - still a heavy one, so still limited in mobility, but hope to get a light weight one next time.

Lovely baby pictures - mum and dad look good too!

Thank you Gail Sis' one, or the other < WOULD, be very nice :D:D
Actually, I was kinda 'hoping' ~to be around, for BOTH :roflol:

I spoke with Miranda [phone] this-morning
she was bright and cheerful and well-relieved that 'Ava' is well and healthy
esp. after, her earlier anxiety*
* The baby had not 'moved', for more-than 12 hours
leading Miranda to worry
~that she had lost her baby [@37 weeks]
Her 'joy' was apparent [to me] in her tone
and wet-eyed Granddad, could then also, be as-relieved :prayer:

Yes, all is well

your Bro'

Matthew 18:19-20 (NIV)

:prayer:
Lord, we pray that our sister is comforted by your grace
is strengthened, healed and upheld, so that she does not stumble
In Jesus' name we pray
