Some time ago, I asked for a prayer for a co-worker who'd just broken up with her long time partner, and was going through a lot. Well, the prayers worked because her attitude improved (you have no idea how thankful people in the office were about that), but other things came up and I'm asking that you all pray for her again.

It seems that my former boss fired her last week. I'd rather not go into details, mostly because it's more important that we pray that she finally find the peace that's needed in her life, that she is able to start afresh elsewhere and, finally, that she is able to turn from the self-destructive path she's on.

I didn't get much sleep last night and I have to go to work today. I will probably be seeing my used to be committed bf at his church this evening and I'm planning on ending our dating relationship. Basically he was crazy about me, then not as much and I asked him to let me know if we weren't headed towards marriage. Last night he was checking his eharmony account in front of my house after going out to the movies with my whole family. His guilty reaction really hit me. How would he develop stronger feelings for me by dating other people?

My daughter likes him and I thought he might be the one, but I'm not settling for anything less than a man head-over-heels in love with me.

Thank you John and Tattered. We talked past midnight, but did not end the relationship. He finally told me some of the issues that made him step back a bit a few months ago. I am going to try to spend more time with my singles group and possibly date other men. I will just be praying that God's will will be more evident to both of us.
