Hi guys,

My family and I need some prayers right now. My mom is in an Alzheimer's facility and is days (maybe hours) from death. She's on oxygen, she's not eating or drinking, her body is shutting down. My sisters and I do not get along very well and our family fell apart when my dad died 6 years ago. I pray that we will do better this time but already, trying to anticipate and make arrangements for my mom, I see the sniping starting already.

We need prayers that we can come together as a family to deal with this situation, and I need prayers personally that I can be a good representative of Jesus, show his love, and avoid getting bogged down into the mire of animosity. Not to mention the whole grieving process that has already begun.

I found out my uncle was taken to the hospital last night. He was numb in his left arm and then his left leg. My aunt (his wife) is blind from RP. He's still in the hospital and I think they will be checking for any blockages in veins. Please keep him and his wife in your prayers.

A dear friend of ours has just been told of a small mass on his kidney, he's going into Atlanta for tests on Friday..his name is Lamar. Please pray for him my new friends. He is a dear dear older gentleman from our church, he's one of our Deacons with my hubby, and he's one of a few of the closest men of God own heart I've ever met.
He's not only related to 1/2 the church, but about 1/2 the town as well, and a very loved man.

I talked to my daughter this afternoon, and they didn't keep her last night. They did ask her, though, if she was bipolar, and she has an appointment with the doc tomorrow. She said they were giving her some new medication. Hopefully, she will be able to be home soon!

Are they discharging her Mamabear?

Yes, they are, but it is taking forever for the red tape to go through. It will be a general discharge, and they are leaving her with an option to reenlist later on, when she is better, but with lots of waivers!

Tammy, Elisabeth has a history of anxiety/stress problems, but she thought she had it under control. She completed Basic training in May, but by the second week of June, had a meltdown during her training, and spent 9 days in the hospital. She is being 'chaptered out' and will be released. Hopefully within the month.
