CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My best friend had a brain tumor, and she was diagnosed at Stage 3 cancer. She is still hanging in there, and it has been 4 months!

Father, you know the things our sister is going through right now. Please lift her fears and apprehensions and give her Your peace and love. Hold her hand while she has the tests and be with the doctor(s) so that they will see the results and act accordingly. Heal what needs to be healed and restore what needs to be restored.
We ask all these things in Jesus' Holy Name, amen~

I need to ask for prayer for my uncle. He had a stroke yesterday morning and another one this morning. He has always been close to my family. I would appreciate it if some of you would pray for him.

I am in need of prayer dear brothers and sisters.
I received the results of my biopsy today. I have breast cancer.
It is ironic that this news comes during Breast Cancer Awareness. I am quite aware that this monster is living and breathing inside me. But, I am also cognizant of the fact the I serve a Living God who is greater than cancer.
I will be having tests done on Friday to determine if the cancer has spread to other parts of my body.
I covet your prayers. Please pray that the doctor's will have wisdom in this situation. Also, please pray for my husband and 4 kids who are taking the news very hard.
