Prayer Requested

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

A request for prayer. After being an inquirer, but Orthodox at heart, for almost three years, I am now taking steps to coming into full communion with the church. I realize I cannot be the man that God wants me to be without submitting to the authority of the church. Being an evangelical Orthodox just doesnt cut it.

Why the long delay? Well, that's complicated and personal. But it is also the source of my prayer request. Please pray for me in this move. It is a bittersweet thing for me. The bitter I cannot share. Just know that it brings me many tears. The sweet is finally being in communion with Christ's church.

My conversion was like pealing an onion. Tears of remorse were replaced by tears of joy in experiencing a metanoia which is ongoing and profoundly changing my life.
