Please pray for my friend who has finally found the strength to end a relationship she has had with a married man. She is a believer and has suffered horrible guilt since the onset of the affair. She has finally had enough of being unhappy and is yearning to be close to God again. She works with this man, and in our economic condition she can not afford to get another job. She has tried before to break it off, and he is a very smooth talker and has made the life of her coworkers hell with his temper and spirit of drama. Please pray that God will give her the strength to endure. Please also pray for him to find God and do right by his wife and honor the vows he took. Agree with me in prayer that they will both move on, and toward God's will for their life. Their names Melissa and Mathew.

Any scriptures for encouragement would be much appreciated

Hallelujah!! I am doing a dance of thanks and joy to the Lord in honor of this wonderfully courageous woman!!

May God bless her courage with strength and her strength with perserverance and her perserverance with victory and her victory with joy!

Romans 5:1-5 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

2 Peter 1:6-8
to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, [you will be] neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
