They ended up somewhere else from about 1:30 on - I picked them up when I got off work and brought them home because neither were in any condition to drive. Actually, one of them would have been ok, but I needed her to help me carry the other, and let her dogs out when we got to her house, etc. Even though they drank themselves silly, they really have a good attitude about it.

It's just shocking - the company they work for, a nationally known real estate company (the biggest in St. Louis) has gone from well over 100 employees in the corporate office a year ago, and when this round is through, there will only be 20 left.

We just hear more about this every day. It's so hard. My husband's job is similar to this....we never know from day to day, just what's going to happen.

Hope your friends are going to be ok.

If I could get some prayers for Jody Morris...I went to school with her (heck I dated her older sister) well...about three weeks ago she almost died with alcohol poisoning and it's thought that it was a suicide attempt...she is a single mother with major depression issues...please pray for Jody and her son Taylor...

Hubby's grandpa is doing well. The medication is making him irate but other than that he's doing good.

Please pray that Mike and I find Aggie! We've looked everywhere and can't find her. I've done everything I can think of to try and "call" her out of whatever hidey hole she might be in the house and I've been out for 1/2 an hour calling and looking for her.

It's 3:30 in the morning. I've been up all night staring at the door willing Aggie to come home. One of the neighborhood cats, Hobbs, came by around 1 and meowed at me but he didn't seem to know where she was either.

I can't go through this again.

I'm doing better today. The shock and numb have worn off and action is taking place. It'll be better on Monday once I get to call places and go drop off pictures and stuff.

God loves her. He loves sparrows, and flies and cockroaches. So I KNOW He loves Aggie. He's watching over her and will bring her home. One way or another, He'll bring her home.

I ask for prayers for our son, Aaron. He and his family were here on vacation and they left Monday afternoon. He returned to work Thursday night shift. Last night he got caught in some of the machinery (he works heavy machinery repair). He lost portions of three fingers on his left hand. He was in surgery over night, but they couldn't re-attach the finger pieces. They sent him home from the hospital tonight, and he has a last protective frame around the hand. Of course, he is drugged heavily, but it was so good to hear his voice!

We are thankful he is alive! My wife's cousin was caught in machinery 40 years ago and died within hours.
