Thanks for the prayers. I updated the situation in the Alehaus since I didn't think my ranting had any place here. Please continued prayers for the siblings that they can get the care and attention they need, and hopefully when the mess with the courts is straightned out, that a loving family (ours or someone else's) will be able to adopt them.

I pray things move quickly for you to get your babies. And that these girls get a good home too.

Prayers, please for Tiger. Our little boy is very sick and has been at the children's hospital for 3 days now. He'll be there for many days, to quote the doctor. Praise God, they finally got some test results that told us what we're dealing with. He has both E. coli and a staph infection. He ate half a piece of toast today, the most he's eaten at one time in over a week. Doctors are using powerful antibiotics, but the illness still has to run its course. He has practically no immune system to fight back on his own, due to the chemotherapy. He's pretty unhappy--even when he gets out of the hospital, he'll have several days of isolation, so no school for what's left of the school year.

Prayers also for his daddy, who is staying with him at the hospital, and for mommy and brother, who are also getting stressed out over this.

Good news. Our son's therapy for the hand/fingers is going very well. So much so, that the doctor has cleared him to return to his regular job beginning Sunday night.

Update on Tiger: He may get out of the hospital tomorrow. He will still need some IV antibiotics for a few days, so we're waiting to hear if he'll have to stay at the Ronald McDonald House or if he can come home and have it done at the local hospital. He'll have to be kept away from people for a few days, but the doctors say he can still go on his Make A Wish Foundation trip in a couple weeks.

Last night my mother was in a serious car accident, but only has bruises.

One car hit another, flipped it over, and then continued to push it into the front of my mother's car. Looks like all three cars will be totaled. But no serious injuries; the woman in the car that was flipped over was being kept for observation.

Praise God for all His mercies! I'm so happy to hear about Tiger and Bear and that Filo's Mom is okay as are the others in the accident!

Update: The teenage girl in the car that was flipped had only scratch on her arm.
