Prayer for sleep - Tinnitus keeping awake

There is nothing that reduces my Tinnitus (sounds that seem to be coming from the ears but are in the head). It comes and goes on its own. Probably comes from my neck injury according to my physical therapist.
I value my brothers' and sisters' prayers in alleviating this disruption in my life.

Also having Tinnitus, so I can sympathize. Though I don't think I got mine from an injury. What I do to go to sleep is listen to the sound of rain in the background. Usually through an app. Maybe that will help you as well.

I pray you are able to get used to it or God removes it completely. For me I've just gotten used to it and while it's bad some days, other days it's more mild. God bless.

ignatius, thanks for your kind words, my symptoms also vary in intensity. So, tonight it is more intense and so looking for relief through prayer. having sounds on is difficult because could disturb my spouse.

So I know this is the Prayer wall and not the Suggestion wall , but could you maybe talk to your spouse and see if just the sound of rain would be okay? No thunder or anything... Or maybe just the sound of crickets?

Or maybe headphones or earphones? YouTube has loads of sleep sound videos you could test out for free. If you like to sleep on your side, maybe try a memory foam pillow and cut out a little notch for the earphone. Just some brainstorms... feel free to ignore them...

I appreciate your help. I do have Tinnitus sound recordings I use when awake. They can go through my earphones. I will try your memory foam pillow suggestion. Thank you.

"why do you look at us as if we did this by our own power. That name.. faith in that name". A man said to Christ.. I know you can.. but do you want to? HE ALWAYS does. I have tinnitus and I have to have a loud fan running 24/7 to not be driven crazy by the tinnitus. A friend of mine saw an ENT who did some kind of sound therapy with him where he wore this thing in his ears tuned to the same frequency or some harmonic of it. I'll pray but if you want to know more come to Request for Christian Advice.

I have it also but don't notice it if there is other noise going on like tv, radio, music. I sleep well without it while listening to Christian tv all night.
