CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The long day is over. Praise the Lord!
I could use your prayers today. 
It's been a difficult day. Teaching was especially rough,
and hormones aren't helping any.
Some days, it feels like I will never make it to the end of this road. I'm just trying so hard to keep putting one foot in front of the other and trusting God for the results. Some days are tougher than others, though.
Please pray for me and for my student. We really need God's grace through your prayers.

When things get this tough for me, and they do, I plop on my bed and say///"Father, I am tired.. you take care of this, I am going to take a nap..." and He does...
I know you can't go to bed when your student is there. but you can close the book and do something fun..
as good a teacher as you are, the student will learn a valuable lesson. Maybe God would enjoy being a substitute teacher..It would be fun for Him....

I need prayer for my 17 year old daughter. Her new boyfriend is everything we don't want. He has been to jail for theft, he's done heroin, etc.. She says he's changed and we need to give him a chance. I am so scared for her. Please pray for our family and for God to intercede. Thank you.

Ok...ok.. another Nazarene Church to pray for...My church... Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene.
We have been losing people and the church board decided last week to go from three different services (liturgical,traditional and contemporary) to one combined service...
The board prayed and fasted for months about this...and they truly believe it its what God would have us do....I back them but, unfortunatly the church is very upset (the liturgical peeps in particular)...
please pray for this matter as it has been very hard on the Pastor and the staff.
