Hi all! Urgent prayers needed! My husband's grandmother (Carol) is in the hospital, with a large portion of her large intestines seriously infected. At this point, they can't find a surgeon willing to operate.

Thank you for the prayers! Praise God, they found a surgeon, and even though he said there was a 30-50% chance she wouldn't make it through the surgery, she made it just fine! They had to remove 4 feet of her intestines!

I ruptured a disk in my neck at church (I work there) and my Dr. said I can't work. I have to go to a nurosurgen because it has affected my spinal colum.

Please Pray for healing I am not looking forward to surgery but more than that I hate staying home. I feel like I am on house arrest. So please pray for my sanity.

Well I went to the neurosurgen and am scheduled to have surgery on my neck next month. Please pray for courage as I am afraid of the hospital. I understand that the Lord used gifted surgens to perform healing but I wouldn't mind an instantanous healing. The Dr. put me out of work for another 3 weeks and 6 weeks after the surgery. I'm trying to talk them into letting me go back part time. I am sooooo bored at home.

I know the feeling! I had to have a hysterectomy almost exactly a year ago, and I can still remember the terror I felt walking into the hospital the day of the surgery. I remember though, my husband, daughter and mother in law taking my hands, and we began praying on the way in, and even sang a verse from a hymn and I felt the peace of God descend - it was amazing! I was still scared and nervous, but the Lord really helped bring me some peace! My surgery went fine, and I had not one complication (other than my IV kept falling out, and I DETEST getting IV's put in )

I will pray for your surgery, and that our Heavenly Father grants you peace and strength and courage before your surgery! Please keep us updated!
