CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A couple of months ago I asked for prayers for my daughter who was dealing with the death of her beloved beagle Daisy. Well, I am happy to announce----- we have a new puppy!!! He is a Cavelier King Charles Spaniel, chestnut and white and just 8 weeks old. His name is Micah. My daughter is overjoyed to have this little guy in her life, and the rest of the family loves him too.

I have a staph infection on my scalp. I'm taking anitbiotics for it, but the last 3 nights, the pain has been excruciating! (I feel okay during the day - the pain just seems to come at night.)

Please pray for me and for my unborn child. I'm still having quite a bit of sickness (morning, afternoon, evening) and I'm struggling just to get through the day. Unfortunately, mommas don't get sick days. . . .Thanks for your prayers in advance.

We are approaching Valentines day and Sharon is still depressed...Val. day is signaficient because 3 years ago on the 15th Sharon's boyfriend died...An infection killed him... She still grieves for him and with the recent suscide attempt I am not sure she is safe from herself.;
She weeps daily...talks of dying...and I just don't know what to do. It's like she is possessed at times.
I pray daily for her..perhaps the answer is to let God do the work. Will you help me with prayer for the next few days?
