Bobby64: We all struggle with sin
No, we don't all struggle with sin.
"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."
If a person wants to abide in God's love, they need to sell out 100% and absolutely stop sinning.
"He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."
This whole thing isn't going to work out too good if we don't stop sinning.
"Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver."
This isn't a game ... we only have one soul.
Time to get serious with God so that God can get serious with us.
Paul didn't struggle with sin.
"And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men."
We're supposed to be the body of Christ carrying on Christ's work until He returns.
What good are we of we're walking around in sin, instead of walking in the Spirit?
"And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
.
Bobby64: So, you never, ever sin anymore?
I have strong desires for worldly sins.
Pray that I come to my senses and fully repent.
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:"
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"
"But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."
"He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:"
"Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
