A friend was telling me about an app that's out now that basically turns your phone's data connection into an unlimited hotspot. I thought that was pretty cool. List some that you all find useful.

The local news feartured a new app on their technology segment called, "Hooked". I haven't downloaded it to test it. But the description of it on the news looked like it was a winner.

I used another app called Waze during a recent vacation. It's an app where users report police traps and other traffic stops along the highways. Apparently there was a move to ban it. Nevertheless, I found it pretty accurate and helpful.
