Post here when you feel like cutting

I'm doing awfully tonight.
I dreamt of cutting last night and now I really want to do it.
And I just... don't see the point. Is there a point?

Yes. Whenever we ask that question...I truly believe Satan is trying to tempt us. Because we know there is a point. There are promises in the Bible that say how valuable and treasured we are. That by his stripes we are healed (not our own). That our body is a temple of the holy spirit and therefore important and to be treated properly. That God's plans are not to harm us but give us a hope and a future. Quiddler, there is a point, you just can't see it right now...don't give into the lie that there is no point. That being said...I'm struggling too. I wanted to today. I wondered whom would know, and who would care. But I know those answers too.

i havent cut for ages... but at the moment i really feel like doing it... i should really be studying... but i am feeling so unmotivated... which is making me feel really bad and guilty... which is making me really really really want to cut or hurt myslef in some way...

Hang in there, the devil will use anything to tempt you, this is why you must turn everything over to God. During the first couple months after basic training I let satan convince me that I was never going to see my family again and that I had thrown my life away and God could not use me while I was in the military.
It's hard because I have 5 1/2 more years of service left, but I'm getting through it by the grace of God. Because everything the devil says is a lie or a twisted version of the truth, but what God says is truth and loves you and will give you peace and joy like nothing you have ever imagined.
Tell God you feel like cutting, just talk with him for a while. Completely surrender to him and watch what he can do for you.

im lonely and depressed, and i just want to cut. It's like a comfort blanket to me and I want to do it. Im thinking about taking a walk instead but I dont know if I can resist leaving the house without cutting first......

i cut, im sorry. i just couldnt last. its like my parents have been fighting and i hate school, dont wanna go tomorrow and them 2 put together made me wanna cut.

I'm a Republican and a Conservative in what is likely one of the most Liberal cities in America.

In a place like this, they preach being tolerant of other and encourage one to express their beliefs... only when you do, and you happen to be a Conservative Republican, you're an intolerant bigot based on that. I've been ridiculed and put down because of what I believe... I think they all need to look up the definition of "bigot." I'm not the intolerant one.
