I got mine March 2005 for Easter and love it!For 2 1/2 years have been using an iBook G4.
I use to known as the computer killer in my family on windows based computers, so I made the switch and this one is still going strong.
Guess there are not too many of us on here?
Oh, that's cool!!!another mac user-i'm called a "switcher" at the mac forums...and I'm not looking back at my compaq.
There are multiple cracked versions of Mac OS X out there. They are usually not too stable though. How is your Dell running OSX?
Spend some time in the Control Panel (I forget what it's called on a Mac!) and most of what you will tinker with in there. Lots of fun! If you do any programming, which I don't, you can do lots of cool stuff from the Unix prompt.I just won a bid for a Mac Book Pro 15", only a few weeks old on Ebay. I am kinda excited about getting it; I am sure all of you know that feeling. Anyhow, any tips for new Mac Users? I am a Computer Science major, have been into WinPC for a long time. Usually build my own (except laptop), so figured I would try out a macbook pro. My current laptop isn't that old, but its a bulky 17" that weighs about 10 lbs (Toshiba).
Ok, that's all for now.
